New Kids

"Papa!" Camila shouted running downstairs. Papa looked towards his daughter and smiled. She ran over to him and smiled bright

"Hola Karla." Papa said. Camila never really liked her name Karla but didn't mind being called by it. She smiled. She shyly looked down

"Hola. Papa?" She asked. He put Camila on his lap

"Yes Karla?" He asked. She looked toward him. She didn't really want any new brothers or sisters but her mother couldn't that she was having a new baby or two new babies to be exact

"Is Mama bring home the new babies today?" She asked. Papa nodded

"Yes dear. Your a big sister." Papa said. Camila shyly smiled. In this part of Cuba you could only have three children at the most. Papa smiled

"Do I get to name them?" Camila asked

"Yes you do Karla so start thinking up names." Papa said. Camila nodded and jumped down from her dad's lap and run up to her room. Camila was only 4 but was very smart. She thought and thought and thought. When she heard the front door open and shut she knew her mom was home. She ran downstairs

"Mama!" She shouted. Mama looked at Camila and smiled. Mama give Papa the new babies and picked up Camila. Camila smiled. Mama pulled the blankets down from the babies face and showed Camila the two beautiful blue eyed babies. Camila thought to herself these babies don't look anything like me or Papa "Mama are you sure they are ours?" Camila asked

"Yes Karla they are ours. It doesn't matter if they look like us or not, it matters that they are loved and cared for the same way." Mama said Camila nodded. Camila smiled at the new babies and kissed their foreheads. She felt someone tugging on her hair. She giggled

"Hey, let go of my hair Juanita." Finny let go of Camila's hair and giggled so did Camila. Gabby pulled on Camila's shirt "Hey, Gabriella let go." Gabby let go and put her hands over her eyes then pulled them away. Camila put her hands over her eyes then removed them and said "Peek-A-Boo." Gabby and Finny giggled
