Chapter 2: The start of summer

*Janessa's POV*

I go to the kitchen to grab a drink. I know what you're thinking, "Why are you drinking when you're only 14" well I'm not I'm going to get water. I've been to Seans house many times before, not just for a party. I go to the kitchen through the secret room where only Ken, Gabe, Gabriella,  Amanda, Josh, Caleb, and I know where it is and what it is. Its a room for us friends to sleep in when we don't have anywhere to sleep if our parents kicked us out for the night, which happens a lot, and the place we hang out. It has some water and snacks. Its a quite big room for it to be in the kitchen. That place is my secret hide out. Seans house is like my second home. I didn't really want to be at this party but its the end of the school year so i had to come. I stay there for a little and then finally go out. I see the girls and I go up to them, they're talking about some guy.

"He's really cute, I don't know what you're talking about calling him ugly."

"He is really ugly." This girl names Kate said. She's really pretty. Im not really friends with her. We're not enemies but we're not exactly friends.

"Who are you guys talking about," I asked giggling a little.

"Sean," They all answer."

"My brothers friend. The one thats hosting the party," I ask.

"Yeah,"

"ok i would help you but that would be awkward," I tell them as i walk away.

The rest of the party was a blur. The cops came and the party ended at 2 in the morning. We all stayed to help Sean clean up and get the boys to bed because they were really drunk. Josh was the one really wasted. We took him up Seans sisters room. His sister is currently at collage so she wouldn't mind. Ken stayed with Josh and Gabe stayed with Sean in his room.

*in the morning*

I woke up Amanda shaking me telling me to help them get the boys up.

I went to Seans bathroom to get the spray bottle I left there before.  I walk to sense room and spray Gabe and Sean. They get up instantly and the look at me and I run away closing the door behind me. I make Gaby hold the door shut while I wake up Ken and Josh. Ken shoots up while Josh  falls over landing on the floor groaning while he gets up. Ken looks at me and I see a look in his eyes making me run away. I tell Gaby now and she lets go of the door while we all run down the stairs while the boys chase us. We run into the kitchen and hide behind the table filled it the food.

"Chill. We woke you guys up so you can eat breakfast."

We all ate and talked.

"What should we do today," Caleb asked while he put his arms around me.

"Well since its summer why don't we stay at my beach house for the week," Amanda suggested.

"OK thats a plan lets eat and pack."

We finish eating and we tell each other to meet at my house in an hour then we can leave.  Ken drops off the girls and then we take Josh to his house since its across the street from us. I shower and pack my triangl bathing suit and my black and white halter hurly top and  my black target bottoms. I bring 3 other bathing suits. I pack some underwear, shoes, sandals, cute tank tops, shorts, and some pants, and finally pajamas. I bring some necessities. I walk down to see the guys here talking while we wait for the girls. Its quite weird always hanging out with my brother but we're really close so its fine. Im wearing a tank top that has low cut sides that says Cali on it and a pair of black high waisted shorts. Im wearing  my white with studs sandals. The girls finally arrive and we leave in Gabys van her parents let us.

"Lets get this summer started," Amanda shouted and we all screamed back.

This is going to be a good summer.
