Caleb's POV
Spencer's mom was about to find out if she won. Aria, Emily, Alison, Hanna and myself were all there to support her and Spencer.
When the results came in Veronica had the most votes. She went up on stage to make a speech.
"Thank you to everyone that voted for me. I couldn't have done this without my beautiful daughter Spencer and her boyfriend Caleb. They helped me so much. Come up here guys", she cheered. Spencer and I went up on the stage and I felt very nervous.
"Caleb. I believe you want to say a few words", Veronica said as she handed me the microphone.
I took it from her and began to talk,"Spencer, we haven't been together for that long and I know that. But I also know that we're not getting any younger. The time that I have spent with you had been the most amazing time ever. I love you so much. More than I've ever loved anyone. You are the love of my life. Will you marry me?", I asked as I got down on one knee.
"Oh my God",Spencer gasped as her eyes filled with tears.
"Yes. Of course I will", she exclaimed.
I stood up and took a diamond ring out of the box I was holding. I pushed it onto her finger. It fit perfectly. I kissed her and we walked down off of the stage together holding hands.
We all then went to The Radley to celebrate Veronica's success and Spencer and I's engagement. I walked up to the bar to order the drinks and Hanna offered to help. While we waited for the drinks she began to talk to me.
"Congratulations",she said.
"Thanks", I replied awkwardly.
"It was a nice speech. But who were you trying to convict up there, her or yourself?", Hanna questioned.
"Hanna, don't", I warned.
"What? We both know the anwser", she argued.
"Look, you are the one that came to me saying that we should both move on and that's exactly what I'm doing", I bickered.
"The drinks are ready", Hanna said as she picked up a tray.
We walked over to the table where everyone else was. Neither of us said another word to eachother for the rest of the day.
