"Good morning, mom!" Jerome said running down the wood stairs of his tree house.
"Good morning, Jerome!" His mom placed a plate of raw meat and fish infront of him.
He gobbled it all up in about three bites.
"Done!" Jerome called.
"Does a special bacca know what day it is today?!" Jerome's mother looked out the window.
"It's my first time raiding a villiage today!" Jerome fist-pumped and jumped up.
"Yep! We'll be leaving very soon, so be prepared! Grab your special wooden axe!" His mother smiled.
***
"I'm ready, mom!" Jerome jumped down the stairs.
"Okay, lets go."
Jerome arrived at the villiage, looking at how big it is. It's just like his father told him when he used to read him bedtime stories. Jerome tip-toed to the wall of the villiage.
"JEROME!-" He heard the sound of his mother's cry with his sensitive ears.
"MOM!" Jerome called back.
Jerome ran as fast as he could to his mother who was laying on the ground.
"MOM!" He cried as he hold her hand.
"Jerome, you have to...run. I love you. Goodluck.." His mother closed her eyes.
"NO! MOM! WAKE UP!" Jerome had tears streaming down his cheeks.
Villagers surrounded Jerome and his mother. Jerome looked at all of them with tears still streaming down his furry face.
"What's wrong with this bacca? He's a child!" A villager called.
A brown-haired boy and his friend walked through the crowd of villiagers.
"Is it friendly?" Another one called.
Jerome looked at the brown haired boy.
"My name's Mitch." He looked at Jerome, holding his hand out.
Jerome grabbed his hand and Mitch helped him up.
"Thank you." Jerome quietly said, rubbing his tears away.
"I know what you feel, my mother died when I was younger." Mitch's friend said, looking down.
"My name, is Jason."
"My-My name is Jerome."
Mitch looked at all the villagers and shoo'ed them away.
"M-my mom..." Jerome kneeled down.
"She was the only thing I had, my father left us behind when I was a young bacca."
"MITCHEL!" A man called.
"GET AWAY FROM THAT BEAST!" He called again.
"But he's friendly!" Mitch called back.
The man walked over to Jerome and Mitch.
"I-I'm sorry, bacca, I didn't know you were a young one."
"I'm Mitch's dad." He said, his voice sounding depressed.
"My name is Jerome." They shook hands.
"See Dad? I told you he was a friendly bacca! He's also the same age as us!" Mitch looked at Jerome.
"What's going on here?!" A knight came towards Jerome.
Jerome jumped backwards onto his four-paws. His fur bristled up and his face filled with worry.
"Leave Jerome alone!" Jason shouted at the knight.
"Jerome?" The knight cocked his head and looked at the bacca.
"This thing, has a name?" He pointed at Jerome and laughed.
"Chewbacca's don't have names, son." The knight walked towards Jerome.
"NO!" Jerome cried.
Mitch ran to Jerome and picked him up.
"You're not slaughtering my friend." Mitch said sternly.
"Give me that death trap!" The knight shouted.
Jason looked at the knight.
"HOW ABOUT YOU SHUT UP AND LEAVE US BE?! HUH?!" Jason screamed at the top of his lungs.
The knight grabbed Jason.
"JASON!" Mitch called as the knight carried Jason outside of the gate.
