Chapter Three

As I walked to Ian's house my heart broke a little more. We were together for two years. Was he cheating on me the whole time? I guess I wouldn't know. When I got to the front porch, I knocked on the door and waited patiently. His mother opened the door and I said a quick "hello" before heading upstairs. When I got to the door I entered and saw him on his phone. He saw me and walked towards me hugging me. "Ian, I heard something and I want to know if it's true."

"Ask away Ingrid." We both sat down on his bed and I took a deep breath.

"Is it true you cheated on me? Yesterday at school some girls were talking about how you cheated on me and I just want to know the truth." When he didn't respond, I knew the answer. I stood up and looked at him. "Well, I guess this is over. I hope you have fun with your new girl Ian." I walked out and never looked back. The tears flowed freely as I walked.

"Ingrid, why did you cut yourself last night?" This is why I didn't want anyone to find out. Dr.Thomas would just ask more questions that I wouldn't answer.

Shrugging I answered, "I was upset, I guess. Apparently there are some nasty rumors going around about me. I heard about them last night." Not the best response, but hopefully enough to get her off my back.  

"Ingrid when your upset talk to somebody. You have Sienna and Cameron. I'm sure they would talk to you. You have many options. Cutting yourself is not one." I shook my head as she continued. "Well, that's it for today. Thank you for cooperating today. I'll see you tomorrow." I stood and walked out. Sitting down I waited on Sienna.

"Hello beautiful. Let's go shopping. School starts next week." Sienna was absolutely gorgeous. She was around 5'8 and had caramel skin. She had a bright personality and no one could bring her down. Sienna was always cheery and happy. Outgoing. Everything I wasn't.

"Why can't I just wear the clothes I have? I kind of like them." 

"Well your mom gave me her credit card and said get whatever you'll need. So we are going to get you lots of new clothes." We drove to town, before stopping at the mall. We climbed out of the car and made are way inside. I wish I could say I'm used to the stares and whispers, but I'm not.

Sienna pulled me into a store and threw many clothes at me. Dresses, skirts, jeans, T-shirts, you name it I had it. After trying everything on, Sienna made me buy all of it. I had five maxi-dresses, five regular dresses, ten pairs of new jeans, three new pairs of capris, five halter tops, at least ten crop tops, a lot of new T-shirts as well. I also got a pair of black Timberland's, vans and some converse. Beanies and leggings were also an essential. Well I guess this is what my mother wanted. 

"Ingrid, eye candy coming are way." I looked up and saw Jai freaking Martinez. Why god, why?

Jai's P.O.V

I decided to head to the mall with my friend Aiden. We both needed to be laid desperately. It's been like a week since I've gotten any. While walking I spotted that stunning blonde. Ingrid was in the food court with another girl. I stopped and turned towards Aiden. "Let's go over there."

"Why? We're done here. Let's go." When Aiden started to walk away, I grabbed his arm and spun hime towards Ingrid and the girl she was with.

"That's why we're going over there." We then started to walk toward Ingrid.

Ingrid's P.O.V

"Sienna, I really think we should get going." I started to stand when I was pulled back down forcefully and against my will.

"Ingrid two very attractive males are coming are way. We will stay here and talk. It's time to get over Ian." I wish I had enough time to tell her this wasn't about Ian, but before I could speak the two very attractive men were in front of us.

"Hello Ingrid nice to see you again. May I ask who this lovely lady beside you is." Hearing him call Sienna a lovely lady made me a little jealous. Seeing the smirk on his face made me want to smack it off.

"This lovely lady is Sienna. Now may I ask who this handsome man beside you is." The smirk instantly left Jai's face.

"This is Aiden. Ingrid can I talk to you." I shook my head and we went to a separate table. I wish Sienna would have let go.

"If it's about dinner the other night then there's nothing to say." I guess that really all. I'm hoping he left before the whole seeing my wrist thing.

"I just wanted to apologize. What I said... I shouldn't believe rumors. I should have stopped or apologized sooner. I would like to make it up somehow. Maybe we could get dinner or something." I stared at him with a blank expression. Dinner with him, I don't know.

"Umm, I'm not sure. When would it be?"

"Possibly tonight maybe this weekend. Whenever would be good for you I guess. If your not comfortable with me asking just say so."

"No, I would like to go. Just give me your number and I'll text you later." I handed him my phone and sat silently as he put his number in.  "I should probably get back to Sienna. Bye Jai."
