IN THE END

Chapter 5

* Silence *

After a   30 second pause.

'Hii  there' says Liz to break the silence.
'You guys having fun? Its your last day right?'.says Roman trying to start a conversation.
'Haha no. There is still one more year. left!' Says Liz making

I'm trying so hard to talk to him but I'm way to shy in these cases. The reason is that I have never talked to any guy till now of what I remember.

I quietly try to leave , leaving both of them to talk . But suddenly he says 'Hii Britt'.

'Hii' is all that I reply with and then I hit Liz on her shoulder trying to indicate that its getting late.

'Oh gotta go, it's getting late' says Liz to him from my side and we leave.

After leaving the school. Liz gets serious and starts scolding me.
'Are you mad? You should have atleast spoken to him properly.'

I try, to ignore her but then she gets all serious.
'Listen, you have to learn how to talk to guys now. It's never too late. If you want me to teach you that? I will ! '

I still didn't take any notice of what she said. And tried to change the topic. "Dude you know 1D's new album is out!!!" And then we start our usual meaningless gossip which will never end until someone stops them. Yes they are so meaningless. But then it also helps us to pass our time. Little did we know that we had to be on our way back home.

"Time Flies "

We both say our goodbyes and are now on our separate ways. Im riding my bike and then suddenly a car honks signalling me to move aside. I turn my bike and stop.

"What an arrogant man!"

Anyways, I'm back riding. There is silence everywhere. All houses shut and no one is on the street. Its noon time so people are probably home resting. Suddenly I see a car behind me again. This time I'm being serious. The car is following me.

To say i was scared would be an understatement.

I reached my home with no sign of the car. I quickly lock all my doors and windows. I don't even know why. After a few hours. I see that car again passing by my house.

"Are they following me or something. Who are they?"i think out aloud

The car just passed by my house. Im so stupid, I got scared for no reason at all. Anyways I'm home and there is no sign of food at all. I open the refrigerator and there is some pasta left from yesterday's dinner. I put the food in the microwave to heat and suddenly I see a car on the street.
The same car, which had been following me today and i start getting nervous.
'Omg, shit. They are out and heading towards my house"
*knock knock*.
"Hello, who is this and why are you following me." I shout in the meanest way possible.

"Haha, hii. Its me Roman. "

"Like, who Roman??" I shout again. Omg I have become so defensive and tough these days. All because of Liz.

" Roman Atwood! We met outside school today."

Shitt shitt shitt.

'Omg omg. Its him.'. I'm feeling so guilty right now of how I was shouting a few moments ago.
I slowly open the door and I see him holding a book.

"Hey," he says

"Hii."

"I guess you left this book on my car today. Is it yours? "
