What makes a Gem (OC's of Steven universe)

Once upon a time

The Gray flying saucer, the first of three ships sent by Yellow diamond to explore planets suitable to grow new gems was breaking new grounds exploring a new green and blue planet that was bursting with primitive life. Chabazite the captain of the ship was only a few thousand years old, he stood seven feet tall with white hair a stern look, his most predominant features were his huge nose and a five o'clock shadow  and a very Greek like appearance. He wore a toga that was a little tight, and a huge brown belt adorned with orange squares. He wore orange gantlets and his gem was located just above belly button. He was one of seven gems on board the ship. Alongside him was an Emerald, two Jaspers, three rubies, and a pearl. Chabazite was in the control room with his pearl, Peridot, Emerald and a Jasper. Peridot cleverly remarked with sass" we are approaching a meteor shower and we need to alter out course caption." Chabazite" I understand... Emerald alerts the rest of the crew on the speaker." Emerald sighed and rolled her eyes dramatically like "yeah, whatever."  Chabazite "Just do as I say." Emerald" whatever you say Caption." Emerald walked over to the intercom; pressed a few buttons and announced "ATTENTION Crew your Caption would like you all to know that we have to alter our course to the plant so we can avoid a minor meteor shower." The Ruby guards who were just common foot soldiers and the other Jasper who was considered a big puffy Cheeto puff where in the back of the ship playing a game that involves punching each other. In the mean-time Chabazite was mashing buttons his hands flying across the key board as he edited there route to a safer one. Jasper "why are you taking so long to edit the course we should be there by now. Chabazite "Because this is a huge meter storm and it takes a great deal of time to complete the edit our path to earth." The other Jasper talking to the rubies "Chabazite doesn't know he is an outcast and it's all because he was made and not grown like everyone else." Rubies " so we are going to be rude to him?" Jasper "yes" the rubies just laughed along in a diabolical fun way.

                                  

Chabazite was in the control center of the space craft far away from the other. He liked to stay away from the others...it was always awkward to be around others. Emerald and a Jasper where in the engine room. As Emerald bangs his fist into the wall in a rage Emerald says "who decided that it would be a great idea to make that incubator grown over sized baby captain? Does a warrior even have the brains to fly a ship like this? I should have been captain, an aristocratic gem should be better suited for the role" Jasper was tall, older and had definitely been in a lot of fights. Jasper had yellow skin with red that rapped around her. Jasper sighs dramatically, because she's heard Emerald talk about this every single day for a year. " The only way that were to happen is if his gem shattered and he died or if he disobeyed his position". Emerald looking at jasper with an evil grin, "you know jasper maybe warriors have more brains then I thought."

Chabazite's Pearl was beside the screen faced away from it and toward Chabazite. Chabazite presses a button as a screen popped up. A pearl answered it with grin on her face. "this is the yellow Diamond control room" Chabazite " i ma here to talk to yellow diamond about the Earths update." The yellow pearl" i see Chabazite that you do have authorization to seek to yellow diamond." The Yellow pearl looked up at Yellow Diamond "my diamond, Chabazite is here to give you an update on the Earth." Yellow Diamond reached down and grabbed the communication devise. Chabazite stated with confidence "This is Chabazite reporting in from just outside the Earths orbit." Yellow Diamond asked curiously "How is the Earth?" Chabazite said with lesser confidence "i believe it has what we are looking for lots of organic life and lots of nutrients." Yellow Diamond said with a surprised tone "fascinating, from what you have told me and the sample Emerald has collected. I will determine whether or not the Earth is a planet we are looking for to expand out empire." Chabazite said agreeingly "I fell that this planet would make a fabulous gem paradise." A load BANG came from behind the door. The room fell silent, the pearl moved to answer it taking each step with a quick yet soft one with no confidence leaving a whisper of a patter with each step ....Until he reached the door. The door slid open. A ruby came running in. she was short only about five feet tall with red skin, a simple maroon shirt and black shorts. She was carrying two Rubies gem that laid in her hands. She ran in and screamed with fear for his life Ruby couldn't get a lot of words out for she was too freaked out and scared "MONSTER...HELP...DANGER!!!" Yellow Diamond yelled through the screen " stop that abusive yelling, you lame excuse for a Ruby inform me on the matter at witch you feel is so important you must barge in here, I should have you broken for that." The Ruby fell silent and froze, she dropped the Rubies she was holding and could barely make out another word. A silence fell that seemed to last forever, he shook his head in disbelieve and said with fear only one will have with a nightmare "A monster... huge...took out everyone and.... and.... It's still here... It... It came out.... Out of no were.... And attacked... with such power...."He curled up in a ball a foot in front of the door way. The pearl didn't move just looked at Chabazite for instructions. He hesitated and quickly muted Yellow Diamond. He yelled at Ruby, but Yellow Diamond couldn't hear a thing. Yellow Diamond looked at the screen with anger. The room from the ship started to shake as all objects in the room fell over. Yellow Diamond had no idea what the stars was going on. The screen cracked right down the middle and with a harder crash it fell over. Tentacles crashed into the room though the walls and the ceiling. Yellow Diamond had never seen a creature like this one before...tentacles how off for a space monster. Yellow Diamond continued to watch the screen as it fuzzed into gray and black striped video in. The picture came through to the screen of a tentacle erupted out the ceiling and came to strike Chabazite, the pearl leaped and the photo on the screen fuzzed out. A video was fuzzy now but a flash a white light appeared...of a fusion between pearl and Chabazite and that was very clear. The fused gem battled the tentacles on and off the screen. Yellow Diamond was intrigued by this battle. A fusion between two different kinds of gems, how Atrocious and discussing. WHAT IN THE STARS IS CHABAZITE AND PEARL THINKING! Chabazite is a warrior and a pearl is a servant not made for battle! Her anger boiled after the battel was over and the two were unfused. The mute function was crushed by a part of the ceiling that had collapse by a tentacle that came through the roof and she was now unmuted. However Diamond stayed silent, interested in hearing what was happening next. So she could ridicule them on every single action they had did. Chabazite was grabbed by one of the tentacles, before he could scream, before he could summon his weapon. The tactical wrapped around him crushing him until he poofed, the pearl caught Chabazite's gem as it fell. Pearl was holding Chabazite's gem when the screen fuzzed back into place complete clear, but cracked. The tentacles retreated from all sides of the room, leaving holes into the walls and ceilings. Yellow Diamond wanted to say something, but stopped when the screen started fuzzing before turning black for a long time. Yellow Diamond waited impatiently and mad beyond belief. She wanted them all to see how seriously pissed off she was and more importantly see all there pathetic faces when she yells at them. A flash of white appeared just in time for Emerald burst through what was left of the door. Before Emerald could say a word to any one Pearl started to run. Yellow Diamond anger now busted through the screen for she could see the Pearl and Emerald. "You dare fuse with one of my court members!!" she now seething with anger "A SIMPLE PEARL ISNT CABABLE OF FIGHTING, HOWDARE YOU STEP OUT OF LINE!! YOU LITTLE COLD OF A PEARL WILL BE BROKEN FOR THIS!!  DO YOU HEAR ME THROUGH THAT TINY HEAD OF YOURS?" As her words echoed throughout the ships hall ways, he ran and ran. He knew the layout of the ship liked the back of his hand as he took a short cut and leaped over a few fallen pieces of metal. He was finally near the back of the ship, where the escape pods when he saw Jasper running at him from the other end of hall the end of the hall. The pearl quickly looked around and hit the big red button. A small escape pod formed and opened its doors into the wall of the ship. However it was as he feared the escape pod was ten feet away, toward the Jasper on the right side. Without hesitation Pearl ran for the last glimpse of hope and his last glimpse of life. One foot in front of the other, he could hear huge clacking boots of the jasper running toward him. He was in front of the pod when the Jasper grabbed him by the wrist. A face of shock filled his face. Pearl through Chabazite's gem with all the might he could muster up at that moment. The pods doors closed quickly and off the pod went... in to the great vast cold world of earth.
