stella hudgens as daniella hares
After eating my breakfast and making sure I had packed everything, I was ready to go, I tugged my suitcases down the stairs and called a taxi. The taxi driver helped me load my suitcases in the boot and I hopped in the backseat, "where to ma'am?" The taxi driver had asked, "Cardiff train station please" I replied politely.
We arrived after a few minutes and I paid the taxi driver and pulled my suitcases out of the boot, along with the help of the driver, i thanked him and walked to the station. The train I was getting on would take me to the London eye and I would have find the university from there, it should be arriving about now.
The train pulls up and I hop on with my suitcases, I pay the ticket guy and sit in a seat alone, London here I come.
After 4 long hours on the train I've finally arrived, I never pictured London to be as big, now I just have to find the university, I had been informed that the university was near. I found it soon enough and checked in at the front desk, smiling at the bubbly lady who got my name wrong three times.
I unlocked the door to my new dorm and it wasn't as bad as expected, the walls had been painted cream and brown and there was a cream carpet, there was a small window and a little bathroom with a toilet, shower and sink, what you would usually find in a bedroom and bathroom, there was two beds and a small desk and two small closets, I don't believe I have a roommate, although someone around could be nice.
I began to unpack my things and turned on my small speaker, a random song by Taylor Swift began playing and I danced along while hanging and folding clothes. I heard a small applause and jumped slightly. I turned to see a girl with very long brown hair and a very wide smirk on her face, clapping. The blush was probably prominent on my face.
"Glad you enjoyed the show." she laughed slightly and nodded.
"Oh I did, very much actually." I smiled at her, she was very naturally stunning, without any effort.
"U-uh well I'm Lillian but my friends call me Lilly, what's your name?" She smiled in return and walked slightly closer her hair bobbing up and down.
"I'm Daniella, but it's Dani for short, what are you taking here? I dance."
"Me too actually, and I am taking English Literature on my parents' agreements." She giggled, and so did I, she seemed very carefree but also intelligent, we talked for a while as she informed me on the teachers here while I carried on putting different clothes into closets.
"I was actually going to head to the studio now to meet my friends, wanna join me?" I nodded in return and told her that I would change and meet her at her dorm in 20 minutes, after her informing me where it is.
I took off the shirt and jeans and replaced it with yoga shorts and a loose vest, throwing my converse on and I walked out of the door, Dani's dorm was only a few doors down, meaning it took me little to no time to get there.
She opened the door after two knocks and smiled, she had also changed into comfortable clothing and we walked down the hall, continuing our conversation about the university.
"You'll definitely love this school, it has a lot to offer to you." I was relieved that it was loved, I really wanted to achieve something while being here.
"How long have you attended this school?" She thought for a moment, her eyebrows furrowing.
"Around a year in October, I started later than everyone else." I nodded in understanding.
She pushed open one of the double doors leading to the dance studio and it was fairly busy, there were girls learning new ballet moves and guys trying to follow them, but all my attention was focused on one particular boy sat in the corner with around 8 other people.
He caught my eye and I seemed to catch his, when noticing he was staring back I turned away with a small blush forming.
"Oh I seen that, he's Parker." Parker. I nodded at her words, and she slowly walked over to the group, they must be her friends.
They all smiled when they noticed her, and looked confused when seeing me follow behind.
"Guys, this is Lilly! She just started and already made an impression with her amazing dancing to Taylor Swift." She laughed while saying it, the sarcasm was noticeable in her "amazing" I laughed slightly too, as did a few of the others.
We went to sit down and talked for a while, they all seemed nice enough.
Still consuming my thoughts was Parker, his brown hair and bright blue eyes attracted me to him, he seemed distant to the rest of the group. Like he didn't really want to be there. Just as I thought about it, he got up suddenly.
"I'll see you all later." His voice seemed raspy, but interesting. I noticed one of the other boys sigh as he left, I had an urge to find out why, but didn't want to intrude.
"I know you're curious, Lilly. He's just like that is all. He hasn't really had the greatest few months." I nodded, not wanting to ask more. And Dani continued talking to who I learned is Kate.
But Parker still played on my mind.
