TYSON
Did you ever hope for a distraction? A distraction from your current course of life, my parents don't love each other, but they pretend to for my own good. How is it good for me if I already know? The worst thing about being lied to is know the truth and not being able to say anything. Life may not have hands but it sure knows how to slap you in the face. Right now would be a great time for a distraction.
As always I'm walking on the shore of my family's private lake, trying to calm my nerves. And as always it doesn't work. Mother slept with another male model and father found out, like always, but he did nothing, like always. The gravel crunched under my dress shoes as I paced back and forth, back and forth. Then I stopped. My favorite nanny once said that you can always find a distraction if your looking for one. So I went looking for one.
About half a mile from the lake house I came across footprints, there was a small track in the ground near each print as if someone dragged themselves along. Slightly further away there were deeper tracks were a body could have easily been dragged. I pulled a switch blade out of my waist band. After several attempts on your life you would carry a weapon around with you too. I continued walking along the shore keeping an eye out for someone. I didn't have to walk far, a few feet away from me lying in a heap of cloth at the waters edge was a girl of about 19. I stuffed the knife back into my waist band and took several hesitant steps towards her.
She definitely was unconscious. I walked to her side and noticed that she was wrapped in a sheet, that made things much easier. That sadly didn't keep her warm, so I pulled off my suit jacket and pulled her up into a sitting position, where I continued to wrap my coat around her. As I shifted my arms under her back and legs she let out a groan. Damn she was waking up. I rose and pulled her close to me, holding her bridal style.
We had gotten back to the boat house without a problem, but walking the mile back up to the overly large mansion I called home, would prove to be a problem.
