Talia POV
I feel like shit. How could my mother, my own blood, the one that gave birth to me, just watch as her man that is not even my father slap me. Now I officially hate her and him. I no longer have a mother because hell has to freeze over before I forgive her.
I tried to sit up but something wad resisting me. I looked over and saw Jason sleeping and his arm around me. I looked around the room and it was nicely decorated. I slowly took Jason's arm off me and got out of bed. I stood up and noticed I wasnt even wearing my clothes.
"Good morning beautiful."Jason said. I turned around to look at a smiling Jason.
"Good morning Jason. Where are my clothes?" I asked leaning on to the dresser. I just want to get my clothes and go to Cole's house.
"Uh the ones you were wearing are in the laundry room and the rest are downstairs." He said sitting up. I let out a sigh and sat next to him.
"Im so sorry. You probably think I am a total freak now." I said with my head down. He pulled me close to him and I put my head on his shoulder.
"Yo, why would what you go through categorize you as a freak? Your good Talia." He said then kissed my forehead. I smiled then got out the bed.
"Well im gonna just go get ready and be on my way." I said walking towards the door.
"What? Where you gonna go ma?" He asked. I turned around to face him.
"Im going to Cole's place. I dont want to intrude in your house." I said. He looked at me like I was crazy. He got out of bed and walked over to me and wrapped his arms around me.
"Its cool ma. I like your company. What are "friends" for? Right." He said. I chuckled and nodded my head. He let go and I went to the bathroom. I did my hygiene and washed my hair. I walked into his room and my bags where there but no Jason.
I quickly got dressed. I put on black and white print leggings, a white sweater, black white and brown jordans, and a black beanie. I jogged downstairs to find Jason yelling on the phone. I walked towards him and he ended his phone conversation. I went to go sit next to him.
"Who was that?" I asked looking at him. He had pissed written all over his face.
"Work." He said blankly. I cuddled closer to him trying to make him less mad. And no I dont like him....like that I guess. He wrapped his arm around me.
"What do you do?" I asked. He tensed up and let out a nervous chuckle. I feel like I already know but I just want to be sure.
"I sell. Well I get part the money the younger guys get from selling. But I also kill occasionally." He said. Well I didnt know he kills people.
"Why kill innocent people though?" I asked looking up at him. He furrowed his eyebrows.
"Not everyone is innocent baby." He said. I nodded and got up.
"Lets go buddy. We got school." I said pulling on to his arm. He kept resisting.
"Talia lets skip. Pleasee" he begged. I laughed and walked to the door.
"Nigga, you are already dressed. Ima give you two minutes to get your keys and put your shoes on." I said. He sighed and went upstairs. A minute later he came down in gray sweats, a black shirt, his Concords, and a gray beanie. He grabbed his keys and we where off.
When we got to school Cole was already here talking to our associates. I started to walk over until Jason grabbed my waist pulling me into a different direction.
"Jasooon. Where are you taking me." I asked. He pointed to a group of people I just dont like. I groan and when we got there I just stayed quiet as usual.
