Is this really the right thing to be doing? I asked myself as I contiued to eat with my dad.

Is kind of weird having him here
But I can't get used to it because as soon as his arm heals, From the car crash,  I'm sure he will be back with his usual busy self.
I accidently sigh out loud.
"What's wrong?" My dad asked.

I didn't know how to reply so I just said "nothing. Does your arm hurt?"

"Yeah a little bit can you get the pills on the kitchen counter?" He asked.

When my dad was released from the hospital he had to take a few days off work and was given some pretty strong painkillers for the pain in his arm.

We finished dinner and I was about to wash the dishes when my phone vibrated. It was aomine texting me.

"How's your dad?" Aomine asked

I replied with a simple "yea. He is okay but it feels strange having him around " .

I guess aomine was worried for me. I felt a little blush in my cheeks.

"You don't have to do those now. Why don't you go to sleep? You have done all your homework right?" I heard my dad shout from the livingroom.

"Ah yes." I reply

I helps dad up the  stairs. He twisted his ankle and can't support his weight in the handrail because his arm is broken. If he fell  I will be pulled down with him.

I went to bed but of corse I couldn't sleep at all.

I woke up early that morning.

"You're early. " my dad greeted me in the morning.

"Yes i have school. " I replied and smile slightly at my dad .

"Oh yeah I forgot it was Friday today. Being in that hospital too long messed up my sechdule ." He said.   i  sitted  down in the kitchen to eat breakfast with him.

"Are you going to be okay at home all day. By yourself." I said quietly.

My dad gave me a pathetic look before ruffling my hair and handing me my school bag with his good hand.

"I'll be okay I have to take a few phone calls but I promise I won't over work myself." He reassured and waves good bye to me as I walked to school.

I got into school really early. I think I was one of try first students in.
I walked through the School to get to my home room. I think i will continue to write up some notes for aomine.

When I slid open the classroom door my eyes were drawn into a single student sitting at my desk.
He didn't seem to notice me. I think he is new because I haven't seen him before. maybe a transfer a student. His red hair  and light tanned skin was very foreign.

I walked up quietly to my desk. I'll just ask him if I could get my books and I'll sit at the empty desk in the back.

"Goodmorning-" I was cut off by a surprise yelp.

"What!? The f you scared me..... hi sorry just moved here from America." The red head tolbe me.

"No it's fine. Where abouts in America did you live?" I say back to him in english.

He looked back at me in surprise. Without realising it we spent way too long having a chat.  we didnt even realise the first few group of early students had came in.
I found out his name is kagami. He told me some funny jokes and the weird things he didn't understand about Japan. I found myself laughing alongside kagami in his jokes.

Kagami seems nice.
