Chapter 1- Halloween Night.. Meeting Him

Hey, guys!! So sadly I lost the intro to this story and I don't know how to insert it before this first chapter! :( So, the basic summary of this story is that SOME details are from my life but not all of them! I hope anyone who reads this enjoys it and comes back to read the rest as I continue with these chapters! New chapters come out every Sunday at 2 pm! Thanks for reading!!! Remember, as this is pretty much my life these past few months, names are different, as I do not have permission to use real names in my work. My name is also different but you can find my real name in my bio!! (: This is my first official chapter. Enjoy!!! xx

All I ever really did was sit in my room and talk to the few friends that I did have. It was around Halloween. My phone had started to ring. So I picked up.

"Hello?"

"Hey!! It's Kate. Mom and I wanted to know if you could stay over for Halloween?"

"Oh, sure that'd be great!!"

We continued to talk for another half hour about what we were gonna do that night, and when she had to go I worked on some art things for the next day at school. Kate was my best friend, we had met a few months prior while she was in cross country and I was in volleyball. So we bonded mostly by going to each other's meets and games. After our seasons were over we practically lived with each other. She was my other half. Our mom's worked together and were pretty much best friends themselves, so it was easy for us to be friends too.

Halloween night came around and I went over to Kate's. We got ready to go out with some friends and my boyfriend at the time, Jerry. Across from Kate's house, was my other friend's house. We stopped over there for a minute so I could say hi to her and her mom. That's when I met him. Kate's family friend, Noah. He was 5'5", brown haired, five o-clock shadow, country guy, old truck, perfect. 

"Sam, this is my friend Noah, Noah, Sam." Kate introduced us.

Noah waved awkwardly, "Hi Sam". 

I tried to avoid direct eye contact and squeaked out a tiny "Hi, Noah".

"Noah you should come with us! We could ride around in the truck and catch up since you've been out of town so long!" Kate and Noah were obviously close as her parents knew him when he was still in high school. Noah agreed and Kate, Jerry, and I piled into his truck. Jerry and I in the back, Kate in the front with Noah. We went around to a few houses and like typical teens us three (Kate, Jerry and I) took handfuls of candy every few houses. After a few houses and Kate constantly pressuring Jerry and I to kiss, I could tell Noah was starting to get pretty damn annoyed. So I mentioned it to Kate and she had Noah drop us off closer to her house. 

Jerry bummed out and left about an hour later and Kate and I went back to her house around 11. The rest of the night was great, but I couldn't get Noah's beautiful hazel eyes out of my mind. 

I went back home the following morning, and Kate and I continued to talk for the next few days non-stop. We didn't go to the same schools so in between us pretty much living with each other we talked 24/7. 

One night Kate and I were talking and I asked her the burning question that I had stuck in my head since Halloween night. 

"How old is Noah?"

"What?"

"Your friend, Noah. He's definitely not in high school, how old is he?"

"He's 21, why?"

"Idk, I was just wondering.."

"Okay, well I gtg I'll ttyl Ily!"

"Okay, text me later Ily2!"

Since Noah was 21 and I had just turned 14 I gave up any and all thoughts right then and there. Let alone that I was still dating Jerry and I loved him. I finally fell asleep that night at 2:43 am. When I woke up I got on my laptop and checked my Facebook. My heart and stomach fluttered at the new friend request I had gotten. 

It was from Noah.
