" ooh this is naaaiicce.." Jas says, pointing to a short pale pink dress with lace around the tummy. She's got the legs for it that's for sure. We're shopping for a dress for her to wear to her cousins wedding. I have no money left to spend so I'm helping her. At the moment we are in forever 21, this is our last stop before we go to self ridges, jas doesn't want her dress to be too dressy, but not too casual, god this girl is picky. " yeah it is, you should try it on" I reply looking at a pair of gladiator sandals. She goes into the changing room with the pink dress and a bunch if other accessories and shoes.
My waist length hair is tied in a plait today and I experiment by adding a bunch if clips whilst waiting for jas. " wow you look great! "
I say as I turn around and jas is admiring herself in the full length mirror. " thanks!"
She says with a smile, obviously thinking that too, but not vain enough to say it. It fits her like a glove, she's paired it with some pink flowery wedges and a pink flower in her black cascading hair. It takes her about five minutes to get back into her crochet tank top and black and white stripy jeans. She pays for the dress and just as we are leaving, my life changes. Stepping into the shop with a girl of about twelve. Is the MOST GORGEOUS BOY I HAVE EVER SEEN! I almost faint. We sidle past them and fall out into the bustley London street.
" woooow!" I say as we are far away from the shop so he won't here. " eek oh my god I know! Cute or what?!" Jas replays, we walk on in silence, jas is probably picturing their wedding right now, flowers on her hair as they walk down the aisle together, the moment sealed with a kiss. Huh she's been a hopeless romantic since the first day I met her when she was flirting with the boy who sat in between us in history, year seven. We'd both come up to secondary school without any if our friends, my best friends Caroline and Lana both went to creedwood whilst I went to st Gregory's. me being the more realistic of us two, suddenly realises we'll probabally never see him again.
How wrong I was.....
