Ok, I've decided everybody's single in this book.

YEAH SINGLE PEOPLE!

Paul didn't talk to me for the rest of the day. He just stayed in his room, making not a sound.

Us girls were just relaxing in Cindy's room, messing around on our phones and talking. I myself my sulking in the corner.

"I don't know why he's mad at me," I pouted.

"Maybe he's jealous?" Theo suggested.

"Of what?"

"Ummm maybe it was you and John sneaking out so early. What were you two up to, anyway?" Cindy asked.

I reached for my bag, and held The Dress up for them to see.

Cindy squealed.

"OMG!!!! That is so cute!" she exclaimed, "Can I have it?"

I snatched it out of her reach.

"No way!" I giggled.

"Why'd you even buy it? You hate that kind of thing," Ava grimaced.

I launched into an explanation of how Paul had liked me in it, what happened in the dressing room, even the whole Rag Doll Paul thing at the fair.

"Awww! Thats so adorable!" Cindy cooed.

"Yeah yeah. Ok - enough about my problems. I wanna hear about you gals! Theo, Cindy, SPILL," I said excitedly in an attempt to change the subject.

"George is the cutest boy ever! He's so nice and smart and funny and I think he likes me!" Theo gushed.

"And Ringo is so sweet. He has the nicest eyes, and he doesn't fail to make me laugh!" Cindy giggled.

"But back to you dilemma," she continued seriously, "I think you should try playing hard to get. You know, make him work to get you."

"But couldn't that backfire? You know, make him think I'm not worth it and go after someone else? It's not like there is no one else available!" I fussed.

"Well, we're gonna make you look so irresistible, he can't say no," Cindy beamed slyly.

"Here we go," Ava groaned, face-palming.

Theo and Cindy sat me in front of the vanity.

"First things first: we're gonna do up your hair," Theo declared, getting to work on my messy black hair.

"Next, your makeup," Cindy said, "Sweetie, I know black lipstick is your thing, but it's a little intimidating. Let's go with a blood red instead. Still kinda goth, but less dark."

I nodded as she coated my lips in the stuff, and smeared all kinds of creams and concealers on my face. After like 25 minutes of brushes and paints and colours, I was deemed complete. I had big eyelashes, with just a hint of outline to my eyes. No eye shadow; just a bit of blush. My lips were a nice red. Theo had done up my hair in a high pony tale, with a couple curled strands hanging down by my face.

I actually looked really nice.

"Where'd you get all this stuff?" I asked, admiring myself in the mirror.

"Made Ringo take me to a cosmetics store after we went clothes shopping," she explained.

"Wow. That guy must really love you," Ava joked. Cindy blushed.

She looked me up and down.

"Ok. The blouse and skirt is perfect, but I'm thinking fishnet tights and high heels," she muttered to herself. She rummaged around in her drawer, and threw them at me.

When everything was said and done, I presented the new 'irresistible' me to them.

They ooo-ed and aww-ed, applauding like they were at a fashion show. The high heels made me a couple inches taller, which was AWESOME.

"Ok. After seeing you all spruced up; I want someone to do my makeup," Theo laughed.

2 hours later, we were all done up and looking hot.

"Nice! Now, let's go knock 'em dead!" Ava declared. We opened the door and stepped out. John, George and Ringo were sitting in the living room watching TV. They turned to look at us, and their jaws dropped.

"So that's what happens when girls lock themselves in a room for three hours!" John said, blinking at us.

We grinned at each other.

"Hey Paul! You may wanna come out of there!" Ringo called, not taking his eyes off of Cindy.

Paul opened the door gruffly.

"What do you want Ring - oh."

He stopped when he noticed me.

Oh please let the 10 pounds of make up on my face hide how much I'm blushing!

"H-Hey Amy," he stuttered.

I smirked, pretending I had just realised he was there.

"Oh, hi Paul."

Yes. I think this just might work.

Ok, sorry for the shortness/crappiness of this chapter. I'm exhausted after getting back from my 'vacation' a couple days ago.

Let's just say doing nothing all day, then staying up late, being kept up by one thing or another and being woken up by a noisy baby at 6AM isn't really my idea of a vacation.

Explanation aside, it's hard to write when your exhausted out of your head.

Thx for reading!
