I supposed that I owe a story to those who asked for it. I was there in the beginning until now. I was there when the world, the galaxy, and the universe was made by him. I knew everything and nothing, and without a body. I could neither speak nor think. I was time. No, I am time, I am the embodiment of time. A newborn mortal to walk the earth, given a life and meaning by God. He made me a human with the ability of time, but I had to be born like all humans.
I know that I'm not pure or holy. God, my friend had told me so. I was born in two hundred B.C. Two hundred years before the Christian icon, Jesus. Who I knew more than any other mortal. But I was almost never around him. The day of his crucifixion, I watch only stopped from helping him down by the word of his father. That day pains me till now.
A couple thousand years later, I was caught up in the Holocaust. I was an american veteran mistaken for a Jew on my journey in Germany. I was almost sent to the gas chambers if it wasn't for the Russian solders.
I admire the Russians, do to the fact that their raised to be tough people. They sent me to America, where I rejoined the army to stop the Germans. To see what they did to the Jews was one thing, but to be with the Jews every second while it happened, is another. This act of genocide has reserved a special type of hatred for the Germans.
After the war ended, nothing much happened until Osama Bin Laden. Once I found where he was hiding, I immediately reported the the president. After which I was glad to that he was properly dealt with.
However the worst war that I've apart of, wasn't a war between mankind. But one that would determine the fate of the world. The end of two thousand and twelve.
I was sleeping until I heard a knock on the door at six in the morning. I woke up, sat up stretching and left to answer the door. As I opened it, the cold mountain winds rushed past me.
"What?" I asked with a grumpy tone."Victor Alexander?" A man asked me while holding a badge, indicating that he works for the government.
"Dang it, David. You know who I am, You do not have to be so formal." I responded with a yawn.
"Its part of my job, I have to. But this is important, so I'd like to enter please." He said with a face that yells rookie.
As I sighed, I moved to let him through. "I'll be back, just have to put on some pants. Take a seat at the table and I'll make some hot chocolate." I informed.
As I staggered back up to my room, looking for pants. Once I found a pair, I quickly put them on and walked back down to the kitchen and start to make the drinks. "So what is it that you need, David?" I asked as I placed the drinks in the microwave.
"Government work again. It's major this time." He began. "The president is worried that the rumors might be true."
"What rumors?" I asked as I took the hot cups to the table and handed one to David, then sat down.
"You haven't heard? People believe that the world will end by December two thousand and twelve. It's bothering the President and every other leader in this world." He said as he sipped his chocolate.
"Who would start such a childish rumor? The world isn't going to end." I reinsured him.
"It's not my place for opinions. Either way, the president wants you just to be sure." He continued.
As I started to think, a question popped up. "How did you find me in the mountains?" I asked.
"The government always knows, if not, they will find out. I learned not to question them." He answered.
"You're going to learn a lot more rookie." I informed him.
