Chapter 13

Levis POV

I scann my friends and all of them have looks of despair on their faces.

"Where's Eren??" I ask, hoping they're just joking.

Nobody responds.

"Mikasa?? Where's Eren?!" I push.

Still no response.

"WHERE IS HE-"

"Eren got shot." Ymir said quickly and like it was obvious.

Eren got shot?? No. Eren didn't die. No no no no

"Where?!" I ask.

Ymir taps her temple.

Hot tears behind to gather in the corners of my eyes and I hear myself whimper like a puppy. I fall to the floor and curl up in a ball pulling my hair and screaming while crying.

"NO!!" I yell.

"HE IS NOT DEAD!" I repeat over and ever.

"Levi-" I hear Hanji try to comfort me but I yell at her and regret it as soon as I say it,"SHUT UP SHIT GLASSES!"

My entire world has come to a stop. My beloved Eren is gone...

Memories of him flash in my head, all sweet moments when he's being adorable and precious and gentle. The last one goes slow. It's our first kiss. His lips reach mine under the clear crystal water with his cute smile and my face is surprised. He closes his eyes and mine open wider.

I push the memories away and scream.

"I NEED TO SEE IT FOR MYSELF!"

"Levi-"

"NO!! IM GOING TO SEE HIM FOR MYSELF!"

I shoot up and grab a few guns and knives and get in my car and nobody bothers to stop me.

I arrive at the old run down building and storm inside and right as I walk in, Erwin stands Infront of me.

"Where's Eren?!" I ask sternly.

"Mm mm on the roof." Erwin laughs.

"I don't understand..."

"Hm?"

"Why everyone thinks it's so hard..."

I hear his breath hitch.

I raise my gun and finish my sentence,"to kill you." I pull the trigger and blood flies out of his head and he falls to the floor. I drop my arms and my guns and run to the roof. I search the concrete roof and find two small bodies. I run to the first one and see Armin. I roll him over and shake him. A small light of hope lights up inside me when I see his lips quiver and his eyes shake. Thank god. I run over to the next body. Eren. My body suddenly tells itself that it needs to stop working and I ignore it and run to Eren. I drop on my knees and hold him in my arms. There's a hole in his head, but it looks like it missed his brain. Let's hope...
I shake him and see his eyes shake.

"EREN!!" I yell his name with a glint of hope. He opens his sea green eyes absorbed with honey specs and the sunset illuminates his soft face.

He looks up at me and I smile.

"Eren, you're okay-"

He looks at me confused.

His breath hitches then his mouth opens,"Who are you?"
