Running

Treys point of view

Darry and Nathan finally got back to the camp with Maya and the dog she had at her side. We all introduced are self to Maya. And she introduced us to her and her dog Toby. She seemed nice so we all trusted them except for Kyle he wouldn't even look at either of them.
After we all ate are dinner which was beans in a can and some candy bars we all sat by the fire. I looked over at Lizzy and she was staring at me with her beautiful brown eyes. I saw her get up and I didn't know were she was going so I followed her. She went into the woods and sat on a log and looked up at the moon.
"Hey." I said. "Ah!" She said and jumped. She stood up. "Did you follow me?" "No..." I said awkwardly. She slightly smiled and looked back at the moon. "Its beautiful isn't it?" She said. I was too busy looking at how beautiful she was. She kept on talking I wasnt really shore what she was saying though. Then she stopped talking and saw that I was looking at her. I walked closer too her. We were very close to each other's face now are lips brisked each other's and as we were about to kiss I hear Nathan yell "HEARD!!"
Then she backed away and ran back too camp. "We got to go now!" I heard darry yell. We all followed darry down the road running from the biters.

Eric's point of view

When I saw Maya all I could think about was how pretty she was she had sat next to me by the fire when we were all eating and we were talking for a long time. I loved talking to her. She was funny too.
But now we're running. Running as fast as we can from the heard. Up noticed Maya fell behind and I ran back for her cause I was far up front. "Were are you going son!?" I heard my dad yell as I ran back. I ignored him.
"Come on Maya we got to hurry!" I said. "Dont worry about me just go run as fast as you can!" She said yelling. "No I'm not gonna leave you!" I said as I Swan her over my shoulders and ran all the way up to were trey and everyone was and set her down. "Thank you." She said. And I nodded and smiled.

Treys point of view

After we outran the biters we all took a moment to catch are breath. I still can't believe I almost got to kiss her. I was so close. I really like her but I don't know if she feels the same about me she has to right? Like we had that moment.
I got cut off by my thoughts when darry started talkimg. He said we were gonna camp at this house as he pointed to it and we were almost there it was surrounded by fences. So it was well protected. We got settled into the house it was mostly empty nothing Much left in it. Then darry found a pistol in one of the cabinets it was fully loaded I was the only one around him so he asked me if I wanted it and I said yes. Everyone ran out of ammo or don't have there guns anymore cause everyone has a knife but that's it and Eric still has his axe and darry has his crossbow and I have my pistol now I guess.
"Oh my god! This place has running water!" Lizzy yelled from upstairs we all went upstairs to look and went to see if the shower worked. And it did the sink upstairs in the bathroom and the kitchen sink and the shower! The house only had one bathroom which ment there was only one shower. We all took turns in the shower it felt amazing we all havnt showered in weeks. Right then we all knew we were gonna stay here for a while.
