You giggled again, before readjusting the microphone. You were in the studio, practicing vocals. Liam, your boyfriend, and a professional singer, decided to help you out. This practice session had been going on from two days, and in the two hour session, you would giggle and tease Liam more than he’d vocal coach you.
“Come on babe, focus”, he smiled as you continued to practice. Liam would correct you every now and then, or sing with you on the song you were practicing just to give you motivation. You thought it was the cutest thing, but soon you were bored. You walked over to the piano set, and hitting a few keys. The entire studio rang with the notes that drew out from the piano.
“(Y/N), you need to practice. You wouldn’t wanna sound awful on stage next week”, Liam said, coming closer to where you stood.
“But Liam, I’m tired”, you huffed, crossing your arms against your chest. This is what you had been doing, and with a small argument, Liam would give in and you’d go home. It not that you hates practicing, but after a certain point, you just didn’t feel like doing it.
“Come on babe. Just a few more minutes and then we can go home”, Liam smiled. He stood where you were standing a few minutes ago. He pressed a few keys on the piano, creating a small tune.
You stared at him intently; his facial hair had really come out. It drew you towards him even more. His presence made you feel alive, and made you more confident towards everything. You love him to the extreme and there was no going back now.
He looked at you and smiled. “Let’s practice?”, he asked again. You made a face, making it clear you don’t want to practice. He stood up from the piano and walked over towards you. You knew this would do it. He would smile, say okay and you both would go back home.
But his actions took you by surprise. You were suddenly pushed against the wall, and trapped between his arms. You stared into the piercing brown eyes that looked down at you. All of a sudden you felt really intimidated. Liam dipped his head such that his lips were touching your right ear.
“Why don’t you want to practice?”, he whispered huskily. You felt shivers run down your spine.
“Tell me why?”, he mumbled against your neck.
“I-I….”, you were lost for words. You had no idea how to answer him back.
“So come on, let’s go practice”, Liam pulled back, grabbing your arm and pulling you towards the microphone as if nothing just happened.
