"Matt we need to talk" I said.
"About what Jade, how we are just gonna go back and never see each other again" Matt said
I started to get angry,
"I mean we barely had enough money to stay in New York so we might as well just leave" I said.
Just as Matt was gonna say something, we heard a voice.
Not just any voice, Matt's mother's voice.
Panic rushed through my body
What are we gonna do?
"So you said that my boy and the ugly rat girl are in that room right there" his mother says.
Her voice is so loud
You can hear it from 3 rooms away
Me and Matt look at each other.
We see the fire escape and he says "take my hand".
