I sigh as I lean my back against my white painted locker with my arms wrapped tightly around my algebra book

I don't want to go to algebra because the blonde boy that sits infront of me probably wants nothing to do with me. Plus I simply suck at math

Let's recap shall we?

Okay Friday night

1. I dance with Zack. We Kiss. I think I started to have feelings for him.

2. Jaden comes up to us after the kiss. He takes me outside to work things out. We kiss. I fall for him even more.

3. We go back inside. We dance. Zack comes and finds out we like eachother. He walks away clearly upset.

4. I try to follow him to explain, but then I see a very sad Cole. I comfort Cole.

Don't worry I don't have feelings for Cole, if that's what you are thinking.

It's actually way more dramatic than I'm telling you because on Saturday afternoon I called Jaden to tell him I want us to be put on pause because I feel for Zack.

He of course got frusterated with Zack because apparently he wasn't supposed to make me fall for him, but Jaden can't control my feelings.

Sure I might come off as a total bitch after saying that, but come on. It's not like im messing with their feelings on purpose.

I need to stick up for myself, so why am I acting like a lost puppy without Jaden and Zack?

I shake the thought and take a deep breath.

We don't learn anything in Mr. Caruso's class, so I'll read the book I'm currently on because reading calms the mind.

I unlock my locker again to take out my book, and then I shut it and re-lock it.

"Excuse me" a girl with a soft voice says from beside me trying to get into her locker beneath mine.

"Oh sorry...I was a little spaced out" I reply and then move out of her way I think her name is Jesssica Colby.

"It's fine" she replies and then I make my way to algebra. Oh joy.

I walk through the door and just my luck, Zack freaking Sooy is already at his seat right infront of my assigned seat.

We make eye contact for a brief second, and then I blink and pull my eyes away. He does too eventually.

I walk past him and sink down in my seat.

He taps the eraser of his pencil agaist his desk, and that is the only noise in the classroom beside the small talk amongst some other students in the class.

I just stare at the back of his head and think about how things went wrong within one day. I wish I never went to that stupid dance.

Soon more people enter the classroom and eventually Caruso comes in too.

Reading during the whole algebra period made the fourty five minute class go by in a snap.

As soon as the bell rings I immediatelty get up from my seat, and walk out with only one of my straps on my shoulder. Just to avoid him.

I go back to my locker and grab my world history text book so that I can head over to that class. It's a good thing Miss Avery is sweet and won't bore me to sleep.

"Hey Jacey...It's been awhile" I hear a deeper voice beside my locker say and a gentle touch on my shoulder.

I look up and see a very familiar face from middle school.

"Hi Will" I say and tuck a piece of my hair behind my ear

Will is a sophomore, and he was my crush when I was in the seventh grade. We spoke a lot at our other school, but since Will is a year older, he left my middle school as I was in eighth grade. So the connection was lost just like my crush on him.

"I'm glad we both go to the same school again" he says, but I'm not sure he is meaning what he is saying.

"Yeah it is" I say and shove my hands into my pastel pink pockets on my skinny jeans.

We've seen each other in the halls, but only exchanged head nods and smiles, which is why I'm curious about why he is here talking to me.

"Oh right..." he says, removes his hand from my shoulder, and opens his backpack to search for something "you left this book in your first class"

I graciously grab it from him "Thank you I must have forgot about it"

He has a side smile on his face, then gently grabs my wrist "Have I ever told you you have a really pretty smile?"

"No—no you haven't...we don't really talk" I say starting to feel uncomfortable with him holding my wrist.

He leans in dangerously close to my face and whispers "I should've stayed in touch"

I try pulling my hand out of his hold because I don't like PDA, but his grip tightens and my breath gets caught in my throat "Will please let go I have to get to class" I say in a whisper even though almost everyone in the hall else are in or walking to their next class

"Why would I want to let you go again?" He asks and pulls me close to him "you're so beautiful Jacey"

Now it's just him and I in this hall.

"Will—please" I say hoping someone will be walking in the halls and see us to push him away from me.

He starts kissing me behind my ear and then my lips. I try pushing him off, but he has his body pressed against mine.

When he starts kissing my neck I try telling him to stop again "Will—please get off of me! Why are you doing this?"

He presses his lips against my own once more and which stops my from talking "you talk to much"

I use all my strength and slap him right across his face and the knee him in the stomach.

He takes two steps back from me & falls, and I feel like I can't breathe.

"Bitch!" he says holding his red face and his stomach

I had never felt so...helpless.

I quickly straighten my shirt out and wipe my eyes before walking into Miss Avery's class.

Did that really just happen?

"Miss Heath you are ten minutes late" Miss Avery tells me as soon as I walk in the room. All eyes are on me including a certain curly haired boy "please take your seat and you have detention after school"

I nod and walk to the third row and take a seat beside Christina.

"where were you?" She mouths to me

"I h-had to go to the restroom" I lie

"For ten minutes?" she whispers

I don't answer.

I didn't learn anything the whole period because I was spaced out the whole time.

After my teacher says we are allowed to go, I grab my stuff and leave, but as soon as I walk out, I'm pulled into a small supply closet.

"Why were you crying?" Jaden asks me

"I-I wasn't okay?" I rush to say and I try to leave, but he gets in the way of the door.

"Did someone say something to you?" He asks

I shake my head "No, I'm fine...no one hurt me"

"I didn't say anything about anyone hurting you..." He says slowly

I lie easily "I meant hurting me with words–can I go?"

I don't know why I bothered to ask because I was going to go whether he said yes or no.

Aw Jaden is reaching out for her, but she's pushing him away

Got some 'inspiration' so here is a way overdue chapter :))
