This is from my Tag and Dare book, just wanted to share this because I'm feeling nostalgic. (I have no experience I relationships whatsoever so...)

-----------

You heard the rain tap your window like how he always threw little pebbles. You've always loved the cold and rainy weather, but since he moved away you hated it. You hated how everything made you remember him. He was never coming back, the plane didn't stand a chance. Those words he used to say, he probably meant them but they weren't promises. You grabbed something on your neck. A necklace. The half of the heart you were supposed to wear forever. A promise. That was empty. That's what it was.

Necklaces cannot cause miracles. That's the truth. You thought about the time he gave you that token of love. Of course you felt happy. But in a blink of an eye feelings change. Just like how you are dying inside, that flower blooming is now wilting. But you knew you had to move on, no matter how hard you wish, he will never come back. Perhaps one day you will see him, either in your dreams or in heaven. It was a perfect match but good things never last.

You will keep that necklace, and one day when you meet him, it will be one again. And you have to keep adding fertiliser to the dying plant. And water, give it more sunlight, and it will bloom, along comes the bees, and butterflies, pollinating this and that, giving life to another flower. Soon there will be a field of flowers, and in that field, you will meet him again.

But for now, you will keep this close to your heart, good things come to those who wait. Patiently.

You will get there. It's gonna be alright.
