Riddick's P.O.V:
Well, I haven't chained her.
That would be a death wish.A metallic and vile smell overwhelms my nose as I walk into a room of the ship. Metallic smell; blood.
"Don't move," I instruct watching Hydra slowly wake up.
"You bastard," was all that she could manage to say before attempting to get up and failing; screaming in pain.
That's the best insult she could come up with? She must be in pain.
I attempt to stop her from moving any more but her strength overpowers my own. "You have noticed that moving is causing you pain," I point out as she continues to struggle. Watching her continue to struggle confirms that talking to her was going to do jackshit.
I growl hoping that in this state it will control her, even if only for a moment.
Hydra stops writhing for a second and instantly you can see the colour drain from her face, fuck.
She leans right over the side of the bed and pukes... on my boots, perfect.
Once she's emptied her stomach on me, Hydra lays back down laughing to herself; well that can't be good. Because I was too busy looking at the mess covering the floor, I didn't notice Hydra stop laughing. I looked up to see wild, red clouded eyes staring right at me.Hydra's P.O.V:
Everything's calm, my body in its own equilibrium. I see Riddick kneeling in front of me, beside the bed, looking down at the floor in disgust. I stop laughing and watch him bend down to clean it up. He's odd; why would he save me? Why would he stay with me knowing who I am?
I watch him stare at the floor, when his forehead wrinkles with confusion.
Riddick looks up and right into my eyes.
Are my eyes normal, I don't know. Why has he not asked about them? Does he even care about the temper and strength I get when they change? I continue to studied his face as he slowly removes his goggles. His eyes search mine, for what I don't know; familiarity, hostility? I can see my eyes slowly turning hazel as I stare into his eyes, Riddick smirks and stands to walk away and I notice that he'd cleaned up my mess... did I imagine the staring contest that just happened or did I imagine it lasting longer than it really did? It doesn't matter.
"Why?" I ask laying flat on my back to let the pain subside.
Riddick turns back to look at me, "Why?" he questions with a chuckle.
This is ridiculous, "Yes, why? Why would you help me? Why are you not asking questions? Aren't you curious?" I fire all the questions stabbing my brain as he continues to move around the room. He places his goggles back over his eyes although you can see he's thinking carefully about his answer.
"Well?" I sit up slowly as my abilities heal the last of my nausea."You're Hydra; you got the name from some kids who were being smuggled by Liam The Fox," Riddick begins throwing information about me and so far he's right. Liam The Fox, i still haven't found where he got that name. "You've been running from mercs since you were 14, from something else probably before that." and there goes the facts, now he's getting to the assumptions...
"You're mother and father were different species and both had very different mental and physical abilities that are fighting each other within you." Well duh, kinda guessed that. Not to hard to realize that all these abilities, the healing, strength, will, anger, serenity and agility, didn't come from one species; because one doesn't exist, until now...
"Continue," I instruct as I take in what he knows.
"Because of the unbalance, if you lose your serenity you go insane," He looks at me, looking for my reaction. I don't give one because it's a fact and I know I lose it when I get even slightly angry.
I watch him as he sits down in a chair across the room and he continues, realizing I wasn't going to react."You were abused as a..."
"Stop..." i interrupt. "I don't need to hear this part. Unless you're trying to make me lose it," I continue as I sit on the edge of the bed.I look down for a moment to gather myself when I notice all the wounds covering my body; wow, I'm really off my game lately. Usually the burns would have been my only wounds. Riddick is really putting me off.
"This is ridiculous," I think out loud.
"It's your life," Riddick replies with a snort.
"No, I was talking about you. I asked why you were helping me, why you weren't asking questions. Not what you know about me." I shout at him hoping that if he thought i was getting angry he'd tell me what i want to know; I was right."You need help," Riddick starts and I can see the hesitation radiating off him like heat. "You're having trouble controlling your abilities around particular people and you're looking for something in the wrong places."
I stare at the area in my leg where the bullet wound has almost healed. Unfortunately he's right, but, "How do you know I'm looking in the wrong places. Do you even know what I'm looking for?" I ask taking my eyes off my leg and locking them on Riddick.
