Katie
I grabbed Travis' hand and pulled him off the bed, not even bothering to turn off the lights or the TV as we ran out the door.
"You have the keycard, right?" He asked quietly, as to not disturb the other residents at the hotel. It was only four in the afternoon, but surprisingly, Travis was being polite anyways.
"Of course. It's in my pocket," I replied.
"Where are we even going?"
"Up."
We stopped in front of the elevator, and I realized and my hand was still wrapped around Travis'. Quickly, I let go, but I didn't miss the hurt look in my friend's eyes. Looking away, I pressed the UP button.
"Katie?" Travis said my name as we waited for our car to arrive. I shivered inside as he did. I loved it when he said my name. Yes, I know, I sound like a hopeless romantic, but it's true.
"Yes?" I asked, turning to him, but not quite meeting his eyes.
"I- I just wanted to say... That I'm sorry. For the pranks. For everything. I know that I bother you, but I won't anymore..." He trailed off.
Was this really what he thought? That I hated him? Oh no. Maybe where were going will change his mind.
"Travis." I used all my willpower to look at him, in the eyes. "It's okay. You didn't really bother me, and I'd rather you not stop."
He stared back at me. That's when I realized how close we were standing. We leaned in, closer, closer.haha cliffhanger! i hoped you liked this weeks update.
