Chapter 4

"Jake!" My eyes snap open and meet Emilie's own sleepy eyes. "We're in London."

We all get off the jet and walk to baggage claim. Once we have all our bags, we go to the front of the airport, where our ride is supposed to be waiting for us. We see a man in a suit holding a sign with all of our names on it, and he helps us cram our luggage into the trunk of a limo before climbing inside.

We're in the limo for about 10 minutes when it pulls into a drive way. We get out, and I hear a collective gasp from all five of us; this house is huge, and it's probably the most beautiful building I've ever seen.

"Are you just going to stare at it, or are you going to go inside?" The driver asks, a smile on his face.

"What about our bags?" I ask.

He waves me off. "I'll take them up to your rooms."

We all run up to the door, but before we have a chance to knock or ring the doorbell, the door swings open.

"The chosen ones are here!" Simon yells, smiling at us. "C'mon inside your new temporary home!"   We slowly walk inside, and there's another collective gasp. Prettiness here, prettiness there, prettiness everywhere!

"Well boys, these are your personal bodyguards for your next tour," Simon says, and I look where he's looking to see One Direction sitting there, staring at us. They are definitely the prettiest things in this room, especially Zayn.

"How are 4 girls and a skinny guy supposed to protect us?" Niall asks, and my girls and I give him the evil eye.

"For your information, we are the best you could ever get in America that are willing to babysit your dumb a—" I throw my hand over Emilie's mouth before she finishes her sentence.

"What did I tell you about saying curse words?" I ask her. She shrugs her shoulders, and I sigh. "I just wish that sometimes you would listen to me."

"Any more sassy ones here?" Louis asks, squinting at Emilie.    "Sierra can get sassy too," Brooke says, pointing to Sierra.

Louis looks Sierra up and down, then says, "I don't like those two."

Emilie pulls my hand away from her face and walks a step closer to where Louis was standing. "Excuse me?"

Louis smirks. "I don't like you two girls."

Emilie shakes her head. "You can't judge my best friend without her even saying a word to you."

"Well too bad, I already did. What are you going to do about it?"

"I'm going to ram your face into the wall," Emilie says, walking closer to him.

Seemingly out of nowhere, a big, buff man comes out and grabs Emilie. She punches him in the face and the gut before pulling out some karate moves on him. More guys come out and try to grab her, but the rest of us jump into action before they can. We join in on the fight, and even more big guys come out.

Out of the corner of my eye, I see five guys lurking in the corner of the room; they look even bigger than the ones we're fighting now.

They start walking towards the boys behind them, and I look to my girls, who look back at me with a mirrored expression on their faces.

Sammich and I go behind the boys and start to beat on the bigger guys. We aren't doing so well though, so when Brooke, Sierra, and Emilie finish up with the others and help us, I'm relieved.    Within 5 more minutes, there are a bunch of guys on the floor and the five of us are panting. We turn our attention to Simon and the boys.

"Are you guys alright?" Brooke asks. They all give a silent nod in response.

"We should probably go somewhere safer," Sammich says, and we follow the boys and Simon upstairs to what looks like a media room.

Once we're in the room and we make sure that we're safe, Simon smiles at us.

"Well done on your first test," Simon says, and we look at him, confused.

"Test?" Sammich asks.

"You just fought all of our bodyguards."

"Why did you have us fight them?!?" Sierra yells. "Now they have less protection!"

Simon simply smiles. "The tour doesn't start for another month, and it was to prove to the boys that you're worthy of protecting them."

"More like they're worthy of our protection," Sierra mumbles, but I don't think the boys heard it.

"That was amazing, simply amazing," Louis says, looking at each of us. "I'm glad that you're our bodyguards."

"Next time don't judge people so quick," Emilie snaps.

"Fine."

"Good," Simon says, smiling. Does he ever stop? "What I want you all to do is to spend a few days getting to know each other; it will help with your covers."

"Alright Simon," Liam says.

"Bye everyone."

After we all say our goodbyes to Simon, Emilie collapses on the floor.

"Is she ok?!" Liam asks, kneeling beside her.

"Jet lag," she mumbles, and Liam sighs in relief.

"Well, you guys still look hurt; let us help you clean up your cuts," Harry offers, and we gratefully accept.

After we are bandaged up, we all go sit on a couple couches and start talking. Harry, Louis, Sam, and Brooke are talking, Niall, Sierra, and Liam are talking, and I'm having a lovely conversation with Zayn, and Emilie's listening in to all of them.

"Are you two related?" Zayn asks me, pointing to Sierra.

"No," I answer.

"What, all blue eyed blondes are related in your mind?" Niall asks.

I hear a whimper from my left, and I look to see that Emilie's asleep again. I make eye contact with Sierra, and she nods. I pick Emilie up bridal style and take her out of the room. I open random doors until I find a bedroom, and I tuck her in.

I kiss her forehead before joining the others.
