The war was sort of a very advanced chess game, me and Jeff being the kings, our followers being the other peices, and the world being the board.  I only know this becuase Jeff beat me at it in eighth grade.

Stepping out onto the stage in the school theater I adressed the girls.  The room was almost full and the crowd was reering to hear how we would demolish the boys this year.  "Hello."  I said into the microphone our vice principle has agreed to let me set up, she assumed we were in here planning the halloween ball.  "Hi Liza!"  The girls said back in one loud voice the choed through the auditoriam.  "As you know the anuual Halloween school carnival and ball are coming up and we have to beat the boys."  Maddie and Veronica nodded at every word I said as if they were somehow the only thing that mattered to them.  I needed new friends.  "again."  I added and the girls erupted into cheers.  Really the only reason they were in this is becuase boys were so, whats the word?  Arrogant.  They didnt give a squat about me.  And they didnt need to.  "The plans will be slipped into your lockers during P.E."  Veronica said stepping up, her black hair swept up in a loose ponytail, her black mini-skirt, gucci pumps and midnight tubetop, made her look like a C.E.O of a large important company.   "And remeber 13 days till the dance so we have that much time."  Maddie added, the girls nodded and I took the spotlight once again.     "Have a great day then!"  I said and the girls cheered, before they could get up veronica chimed in, "Remeber, guys are the enemy, never lose sight of that."  As the girls started leaving I turned and rolled my eyes at Veronica.  "Really?"  I asked, annoyed.   "What?"  Veronica said.

"You just made us sound like we were extremely sexist."  I pointed out.

"I didnt!"  Veronica insisted and Maddie glanced in our direction.

"We're hosting a feud Ronnie, not a club where girls are pitted against males."

Maddie was right, as always.

"Never said we were."  Veronica said childishly and we burst out laughing.   "Lets mop the floor with em!"  I said.  "Suck em in the gut!"  Veronica chimed in.  "Clean em up and hit em where it hurts!"  Maddie finished, and we all burst out laughing, the moment was so happy, I smiled.  We had all been best friends for a while now and this was what we were all about.  "Hit the mall?"  Maddie said as If reading my thoughts.  Me and Veronica exchanged knowing glances.  "Lets roll!"  We said our 3 voices becoming one.  and just like that we were best friends again.  and we always would be.
