What if Kurt had brought Adam with him to Mr. Schue's wedding?
Blaine sat at his table staring sadly at Kurt across the room as he held Adam's hand and giggled about something that he said.
Blaine decided what song he wanted to sing and went up to the stage. Of course he would have to change a few words, but that wasn't hard. He sat down at the piano and started playing the notes.

Blaine had tears in his eyes as he ran off the stage and out of the room. He ran into the bathroom, forgetting to lock the door.
He leaned against the wall, letting tears roll down his cheeks. You don't deserve to be upset. You cheated on him. He should be happy and he's never going to be happy with you. He needs to be with someone he can trust. He let out a broken sob and slid down the wall.

As soon as Blaine had started singing Kurt had tuned everybody else out, including Adam. He got lost in the song, tears filling his eyes.
At the end when Blaine ran off, Kurt could see the tear rolling down his cheek and he knew what he had to do.
"Adam, can I talk to you for a second?" Adam nodded, standing up and walking into the hallway behind Kurt. "I really don't know how to say this nicely, but you were as rebound. I wanted to get over Blaine and I used you to do it. Or try to."
