You guys are gonna hate me for this, and trust me I hate myself for doing this. In the last chapter I felt like I ended things too early with Yvonne and Toby. So they will be back together but for a short time. Ugh I'm deeply sorry again. I'm going to punish myself for that.
Toby's POV (its going to be his pov until further notice)
I heard a knock on the door
"Spencer" I said
"Can I come in, we need to talk" she asks. I step aside to let her in. We go to sit down on the couch
About yesterday, I didn't mean to snap, I'm sorry, it's just that this wedding is coming close and I'm super nervous" Spencer said
"It's fine"
"listen Toby get back together with Yvonne"
"What" I breathe
"Listen don't lie to Yvonne okay, cause then it's going to lead to more lies, it's what ruined our relationship in the first place"
"No Spencer, I can't"
"Why not Toby?"
"Cause I'm still in love with you". Spencer's eyes widen at my comment
"Toby you-"
"Spencer". I get up and started to pace back and forth. "Ever since you came back, you've been on my mind. As soon as Jenna told me you were coming, I had to act fast to get you back, but when she said you were getting married, I-I was so angry" I confessed
"Toby you were the one that left and never came back, especially after what happened with my miscarriage,"
'I know, but I want you,YOU are still the only person in this world that matters most to me"
"Just get back together with Yvonne. Were you always thinking about me when your with her" she ask
"No" I lie, hoping she will believe me
"Then continue that, I'm not staying here in Rosewood, right after I'm married I am leaving"
My heart sank. I'll get back with Yvonne but only because Spencer wants me too.
"Fine, I'll do it". Spencer smiled and I smiled back
"As long as you're happy, I'm happy" she said.
"okay, I gotta call Yvonne, bye Spencer". She left. I decided to call Yvonne asking for another chance even though I don't want to.
"Toby, why are you calling me" she ask
"I'm sorry I lied, will you please give me another chance" I ask plainly
"okay, but don't lie to me again" she warned.
The next day.
I decided to go finish up the house I started to build. A long time ago I made a promise to Spencer that once I get my own place, there will be something special in there for her, but we broke up. So I'm just building it for myself. As I'm working I hear drilling noises and banging sounds. I follow the sound and ended up on a 15 acres yard.
"Toby, is that you" I hear a voice call. I walk closer and see that it's Brian. ugh
"Oh hey....Brian" I said 'What are you doing?"
"i'm almost done building Spencer's new barn, it took me a while but it's almost done" he said. He grabbed a towel and wiped his hands and his forehead.
