"Did you see Miss Briggs' wart today? I swear it tripled in size since last Friday."

"She's becoming Lewb's twin sister. Same Hitler-ish personalities, too," laughed Carly.

Carly and Sam were laughing about school and life one fall afternoon while debating ideas for their next cast.

"I'm home! And I brought bacon donuts!" yelled Spencer from the lower floor.

Sam and Carly ran down the stairs, hungry after the cafeteria's "yummy" cardboard and grease pizza and glad to see Spencer. They got to the kitchen, hugged Spencer, and wolfed down the donuts.

"Hey, give it back!" yelled Carly playfully as Sam snatched Carly's donut out of her hand and shoved it in her mouth, full already with another donut. Spencer laughed. "So you guys want spaghetti tacos for dinner right?" he asked.

For the next few hours, Sam and Carly did homework and watched old iCarly casts and Girly Cow.

While the purple cow was begging to float into heaven on TV, the front door burst open and Mrs. Benson stormed in.

"My dear Fredward is missing. Do you kids have any clue as to his location? I'm really going mad with worry here!" Mrs. Benson took out a tiny electric fan with pink sparkles and put it near her flushed face.

"Umm..." Carly, Sam, and Spencer shared a glance. "We haven't seen him since yesterday afternoon. He wasn't at school today."

Mrs. Benson gave a little gasp and began hyperventilating. "My Fredward.... Last night, he and I got into a little... spat. He ran off. I was 99% certain he would be here across the hall, so I didn't call."

Sam interrupted... "So you were on a "date" with Principal Franklin, right?"

Mrs. Benson grew even more flushed. Everyone half-expected steam to come out of her ears. "Learn some respect, Samantha! For your information, Ted and I were... planting flowers on the roof... last night. Why Fredward would talk about our playdate with you is beyond me."

"Right..." said Sam with a mischievous smile. Everyone knew how Mrs. Benson and Ted were a "thing" now. Carly and Spencer looked rather uncomfortable.

"What if he's lying in a ditch... in Canada?! I hear they have horrible gangs up there. What if?..." Mrs. Benson began mumbling incoherently to herself.

"Mrs. Benson, it's really late. Mrs. Benson. I'm sure Freddy couldn't go far. Honestly, he believes crossing when the walk signal isn't on is a mortal sin. I'm sure we'll see Freddy soon." reassured Carly in that sweet way everyone loves.

Mrs. Benson softened a bit and seemed to calm down a tiny bit. "Yes, but when he comes back, I am taking away his rubber duck. Bath times will never be the same for him!" Mrs. Benson seemed cheered by this statement and walked out of the Shays' apartment without closing the door.

The crew shared glances. This seem like the most anti-Freddy thing do to. What if something bad had happened to Freddy...? Nope, his mom had probably just went to far in something or the other. It couldn't be something bad.
