Chapter 2

Ben's pov

I walked into school feeling like shit.

"Whoa, mate. You look like hell." Sam said.

"Yeah, I feel like it to." I said and walked to my locker.

"Did you sleep?" He asked.

"No, I went to visit Danny and then I laid in bed awake all night thinking." I said.

"Well, how's  Danny?" He asked.

"Pretty good." I said.

"Well, that's good." He said. I just nodded in response.

"I guess." I said and grabbed my binder out of my locker. "I do have bad news, no party tonight." I said.

"Mum staying home?" He asked.

"No, she's still going out of town but I got grounded." I said.

"Ben, you never get grounded. What happened?" He asked.

"I yelled at my mum last night." I said.

"Damn." He said.

"Yeah." I said.

"Hey is the party still on?" Some random person asked.

"No." I said..

It was lunch time and loads of people kept asking me if the party was still on. I pushed my tray away and stood up on the table.

"I'm making this loud and clear for everyone. The party is fucking off." I said. Everyone groaned. I got down from the table and grabbed my bag and tray of food. I tossed the food out and walked straight out the doors of the school. Of course people were whispering about me. I walked to my car and got in slamming the door. I tossed my bag into the passenger seat and then started  the car. Before I could take off someone opened the passenger door and got in. I looked over and saw Sam. What the hell? "Sam, seriously. Fuck off, mate." I said.

"No, you better not be going to see Danny." He said.

"I wasn't even planning on it. I was planning on going home." I said.

"At least let us come with you." As if on cue, Cam and James got in the back. I sighed.

"Fine." I mumbled. A knock on my window caused me to jump. I looked over and saw that Denis kid standing there. I rolled my window down. "Yes?" I asked trying to be really polite even though I wanted to get the fuck out of here.

"Do you mind giving me a ride home? I have no more classes." He said.

"Sorry, mate. I have to go straight home." I said with an apologetic look.

"That's fine." He said smiling softly before he walked away. I rolled my window up and started driving out of the parking lot.

The guys and I were in my pool just hanging out and drinking beer.

"So what are you doing this weekend?" Cam asked.

"Probably going to visit Danny." I said.

"Come on, man. You know how bad this is getting?" He asked.

"The nurse called me earlier and said that Danny wants to see me." I said.

"Do you think that's a good idea?" He asked.

"Yes, I do." I said and got out of the pool. "I'm going in a little bit. So you guys are going to have to leave." I said. They all got out and dried off. I dried off and we walked into the house.
