A/N: As requested by DebbyDebbs, here's another part! ^_^ Enjoy!

A tear rolled down your cheek as you stood back in the distance, observing Letty's funeral from afar. Even though both Brian and yourself were on assignment in Los Angeles, the both of you needed to go to her funeral. See, Brian needed a favor from the latina and wanted her to help him with a case, since he was in the FBI now, but that turned out to be a bad idea.

Over the time of working on that particular case, you had grown close to Letty and she was a good person.

At first, you were hesitant and cautious around her, not knowing if she would tell her husband, Dominic, about what she was doing, but she proved that she could be trusted, which made you trust her. Being in the FBI business, you had some arguments with your boyfriend over what to do with the criminals, so you would go to Letty for advice and she always knew the right things to say.

Letty Ortiz was the first friend you had outside of Miami. "Brian, we can't let her down like this. We have to find the guy who killed her and take him down," more tears rolled down your cheeks from your (e/c) eyes as you said this. As you spoke, your voice choked and you tried not to sob. He wrapped his arm around your shoulder, continuing to watch the funeral, and nodded, rubbing your back comfortingly.

Brian was sad about his friend dying as well and wanted the same thing as you, to catch the guy who killed her.

There would be complications along the way, but it was nothing compared to what the two of you have been doing while in the FBI. He knew he had to be strong for both you and Letty...just like he should have been back in Los Angeles five years ago. So, for now, he just held you as the both of you grieved over the loss of your friend.
