The News

I woke up and immediately felt a sickness in my throat. I ran to the bathroom and threw up. I sat back on the tub and just sat there for a minute until Shawn came in.

"Cassidy you okay?" He asked with a concerned look on his face and leaning down to me. "Yeah. I must just be sick." I said reassuring him that I'm okay. But then I remembered last night.........

We got up and got ready for the day. Shawn was going out with the Jacks today so I decided I would go to the store and buy, a pregnancy test. I was so worried. I picked out my outfit and headed downstairs for breakfast. I was wearing a mint tank top and white jeans with tan flats and a white cross body bag.

I got some yogurt and ate that. I wasn't that hungry. Shawn came down said goodbye and left. After waiting 20 minutes till he left, I grabbed my keys and went to my jeep. I headed to the nearest pharmacy.

I finally found one and got out of my car. I went inside and found what I needed. But I hesitated before buying it. But I finally did.

I drove home and went to the bath room. Shawn was home but the Jacks and Taylor were here to. I walk in the door and quickly put the test in my bag so they wouldn't see it. I could tell Shawn saw how nervous I was.

"Hey babe. You okay?" He asked walking up to me. "Yeah I'm fine. I'll be right back." I said walking off. I went to the bathroom and followed the directions on the little box.

I waited 2 minutes and then looked. There it was. 2 lines. Possitive. This cannot be happening to me! How am I supposed to tell Shawn? Well I have to tell him sooner or later. But I guess it has to be sooner.

I walked downstairs with the test in my hand hidden behind my back. "Hey Shawn. Can I talk to you?" I ask. He nodes and follows me into another room. "Shawn. You remember last night right?" I ask. "Yeah it was amazing. " He said smiling. "Well. You forgot something. And that lead to this." I said taking the test out from behind my back slowly.

He looked as shocked as I was. "Wait. Your pregnant?!" He said yelling. "It's not mine. It can't be mine. I'm 17 I'm not ready to have a kid. I have my whole life in front of me. I can't have a damn kid!" He said yelling even louder. "Are you calling me a slut?! Shawn I haven't slept with anyone else. Your the only boy I've ever done it with!" I yell back. "Just get out. GET OUT!!" He said pushing me out of the door making me fall into the hall.

Taylor comes running in from the kitchen. He could tell something was wrong by my tear stained face and the fact I was laying on the floor. " Oh my gosh. Cassidy are you okay? I heard yelling. Tell me what happened" He said really concerned. He helped me up to my knees and hugged me. I immediately started balling into his shirt. He soothed me and I told him everything that happened.

"I'm so sorry he did that. He probably didn't mean it. But congrats on that." He said pointing at my tummy. "Thanks. And I don't know about that." I said looking at my feet. We kept on talking until the Jacks came in. We told them everything and they said the same thing Tay did. They all supported me and I thanked them for that. I just wish Shawn did too. He is the father. This baby can't go fatherless.....

♡Shawn's P.O.V♡

What did I just do. I just called the love of my life a slut and said I didn't want the baby that I made. God. I'm so stupid! I have to say sorry. I do want this baby and I sure as hell want her. I can't just walk out on them. They are my family now. I have to go apologize.

♡Cassidy's P.O.V♡

We were all talking about the baby when we heard someone come downstairs. We all turned and saw Shawn. Tay and the Jacks all stood up in front of me. They are so protective. Which I was fine with. I like feeling protected. "You told them." Shawn finally spoke. "Yeah. She did. Why would you care. You don't want it. You don't want her. You called her a fuckin slut!" Tay yelled in my defense. "Yeah I know what I said. But I didn't mean any of it. I was just scarred and confused. I didn't know what else to say." Shawn said getting all sassy like he is. "Please just let me talk to her." They all turned around and looked at me. I nodded and walked with Shawn upstairs. "Yell if you need anything." Tay yelled.

We got to the room and I sat on the bed next to Shawn. "Listen. I didn't mean anything I said. I love you and I love this baby. It was just a shock to me. And I'm really sorry. Please forgive me. You are my world and I don't know what I would do without you. Please. Cassidy. I love you." He said grabbing my hand. "It's alright. And I love you too." I said and he pulled me into a huge hug.

We walked downstairs and told everyone we were good. Then all of us ordered pizza and had a movie night. Tay kept on keeping a close protective eye on me. Making sure no one hurt me or I didn't hurt myself.

I was walking into the kitchen and Jack J came after me and grabbed my wrist. "Cassidy Wait up." And with that I fell to the floor in major pain. Causing me to scream. He noticed and let go of my wrist. Jack G, Taylor, and Shawn came running in. Shawn and Taylor bent down to me to help me up. "What happened?" Shawn questioned. "I don't know. I grabbed her wrist and she fell to the floor in pain." JJ said.

"Show me your wrist. Both of them." Taylor said looking me right in the eyes. "No." I simply said putting my arms behind my back. "Now" Shawn shot back. I slowly lifted up my sleeves and they all just stood there looking so worried and had so much shock in their faces. I honestly don't know what to do so I just pulled my sleeves down.....
