Aury's POV
I walk through the oak forest and begin to collect some berries. My gaze shifts from the berries to around me rapidly as I collect them faster. I grab the almost full basket of berries and continue to walk looking for more. My mother always said,

Don't stop until you see the top.

I loved her so much. Now I have to live with a burden on my soul. It was my fault she died. If I would have just accepted to become one they wouldn't of hurt her. I reach another berry bush and hear a rustle of leafs behind me. I quickly turn my head facing the way that the sound came from. I see nothing so I grab a few more berries and head back to the village.

I hear it again and this time I hear a chuckle along with it. I begin to sweat uncontrollably and start to shake as I pick up my speed. As soon as I'm at least 30 acres away from the village I come to a regular walk. Then I hear a voice.

"Well hello there gorgeous." The person says.

I turn around slowly and see a boy with snow white hair and emerald green eyes. He notices I'm staring and smirks.

"Like what you see cutie?" He flirts.

I blush and roll my eyes with a slight nod. He seems surprised by this sudden action and starts to walk towards me. He gets nose to nose with me and says.

"Do you need me to carry that?" He asked with his voice quivering in some places.

I nod and he grabs it from my hand and sets it down. He cups my cheeks with his hands and lightly kisses my lips. I kiss back and his hands slide to my waist. I wrap my arms around is neck and twist his white locks in between my fingers. He lets go and picks up my basket with his other hand in my hand and we walk back to my village.

When we get there I give him a hug and he whispers in my ear.

"See you tonight."
