Secrets
It was dark, the I was in a bed, in a room I had never seen before. I looked around, but when I tried to get up, it hurt like crazy. My head was spinning. The room was light gray, with a simple twin bed that had white sheets. I has a sling in my left arm, and an ice pack on my head. I had definitely not been here, and that had definitely NOT been a dream. I kept thinking about what had happened until I drifted off again.
I don't know how long it's been, but I knew for a fact it would take some time to make all my school work. I felt like I really didn't need school anymore, but it wouldn't matter after I told my mom about what happened. She wouldn't believe me, and send me back with a note that said I was having mental problems probably.
I heard footsteps coming towards the door, but I didn't care anymore. I figured it couldn't get any weirder. I was wrong. The door opened, and Angel and Austin walked in. Angel looked relieved, but I couldn't read Austin's face. I still couldn't figure him out and it had been months. This wasn't the weird part. I remembered when they walked in that Austin had been in that strange house, and something was wrong. I couldn't remember exactly what, but I remember it freaked me out.
Angel refused to leave me, and Austin Visited a few times a day. He was still going to school, but Angel had dropped out Completely, and I figured I was done too. I was grateful for a friend like her. She told it had been over 2 weeks science Austin found me!
I don't know what I'm going to tell my mom. I don't think she'll believe me about the dark boy with horns. WHY WAS MY LIFE ALL OF A SUDDEN SO COMPLICATED?!
The police came and questioned me, and I didn't want to go away so I just pretended I didn't know anything. Angel was with me till my arm healed, and my head got better. Then, after that I just wanted sleep, peace and quiet.
Well, I never get what I want. It took around 4 weeks to heal, and I told my mom I was just done with school. Being injured, she didn't care at the moment, but when I started to get better and heal, it was pretty clear I was going back.
It was around three in the morning, and I heard footsteps. The door opened, and Austin walked in.
"Hey, can't sleep?" He asked. I thought No, I'm really asleep right now! What do you think? But all I said was "Yeah"
"I need to talk to you, about the questions the police asked you." Crap, I was hoping that I didn't have to talk about this again. He sat at the end of my bed.
"Do you really not remember anything?" I really don't like these questions. I don't really know if what I remember was real anyway.
"I don't know. To be honest here, I don't know if what I saw was real." I could here the uneasiness in my own voice, and I was sure he heard it to. "Everything I saw was weird. I don't really want to talk about right, cause I'm tired." Which was actually true. I was becoming tired.
"It's ok, I just wanted to know if you did actually remember anything. I'll let you sleep now. Good night." He got up and walked to the door. "See you in the morning!" And with that he opened the door, walked out and shut it behind him. Ugh! Now I know for sure I'm going to have to tell my friends, because if I tell Austin, I will tell Angel.I'm sorry if it's a little short, and less descriptive. I'll try to make the next one better. Hope it was ok🙃.
