Chapter 7 - "Warning, Danger!"

  "Are you thinking..." Claire paused before she began walking towards the door. "He has an implant in his back, I can track it from the control room!" After that, she ran out the door. When Claire left, you were left alone with the security man. "I am going to take a look at that." You told him. "I'll go with you." He replied before getting up from his seat and following you.  

  The two of you finally entered the area and slowly began to walk towards the wall where the claw marks were. There was another man there. You put your hand up against the wall, feeling it. "This wall is 40 feet high, you really think he could've climbed out?" The man asked. "Depends..." You answered. There were sounds of loud footsteps coming from behind you which made you look back. Nothing. You sighed deeply as you looked back at the marks.

  There was total silence until the man's radio began to make strange sounds. You looked over at him. The man placed his hand upon it. "What's the problem?" He asked. "It's in the cage, it's in there with you!" A female voice screeched out. You didn't think twice before screaming out "Run!" and heading back. But a gigantic figure stood in front of you. You heart began to pound in your chest as you ran the opposite way. The other man following behind you. But he didn't make it. The large figure reached out his arms and grasped a hold of the man. You didn't dare look back. The sound of the man screaming filled your ears as you kept on running. You noticed the security guy placed his hand on something and punched in a code. The door opened as he ran out. You prayed that you would not be eaten alive.
You were getting closer and closer to escaping but the door began to slowly close. You ran faster with each step you took. You made it through just in time before the door could fully closed. But the large dinosaur which was named the Indominus Rex got through as well.

  You found a car and slid under the vehicle as quick as possible. You turned over, only seeing half of its body. Up close, he was terrifying and large. You watched as he began to walk slowly towards the vehicle on the opposite side where there sat the security officer. You breathing hitched. The man looked to the side to see if it was gone. But the Indominus Rex stared down at him after he flipped over the vehicle. You covered your head to prevent any glass from scraping you. At that moment, he snatched the man in his jaws. You closed your eyes tightly. Trying to keep yourself calm. You could hear footsteps coming closer to you as you slowly opened one eye.

  You felt yourself stop breathing when you noticed he was crouching down besides the vehicle you were under. You stood completely still, trying not to make any noise. He sniffed, tilting the vehicle slightly. You heard a growl form in his throat before he let out a terrifying roar. He began to walk away. You pulled out your phone, dialing Owen's number. "Please p-pick up!" You begged. You heard a small click. "(Y/N), are you alright?" Owen's voice rang through your ears. "P-Please c-come pick m-me up." You stuttered. "Of course." You told him where you were and then ended the call. You took a quick peek out from under the car to see if he was really gone. You sighed in relief. He was.

  You got out from under the car, looking left and right to see if anyone else was still alive. You sighed once again, leaning against the vehicle. You waited silently as you crossed your arms, hoping Maxwell and the others were alright.

  Surprisingly, time flew by and Owen was already there. You walked over to him. "The-" Owen stopped you. "I know, Claire told me." Owen said before patting the spot behind him. You hopped on and the two of you were off. "Where are we going?" You asked. "I need to talk to Claire, but I am bringing you back to the raptor paddock." You could tell in his voice that he didn't seem happy, so you didn't say anything else for the whole ride.

  For the rest of the ride, you stared up at the pale blue sky. You had to tell the others. But what will they say? You did hear Owen talking about some guy wanting a field test. That didn't seem good. "We're here." Owen said as you hopped off. "Thanks." You said as you walked over to the entrance, but Maxwell nor the others were there. "What?" You asked yourself. You looked over to your left to see Owen's good friend, Barry. Barry was with the raptors. But the raptors were held by something, making them unable to move. You walked over to him. "What on earth is going on?" You wondered. "Hey (Y/N)!" Barry said as he gently patted the top of Delta's head. You looked over to the right seeing Charlie. He only stared at you. He didn't growl, snap or glare at you. He only stared, making small chirps. Barry was talking to a man when you looked up. He didn't seem too happy either. Their conversation ended when Barry began to walk away. The man then pulled out his phone. "hey, we have the raptors we might have an opportunity here." The way he said those words did not sound good.
