Angelina's POV

"You look like you are about to murder someone, smile" Kay say to me sweetly, God bless her heart because honesty she is the only person in this elevator whose head I don't want to rip off.

"I might just do that." I say to her while looking down at the hideous thing I was forced to wear. I pull at a thread that's sticking out on the sleeve.

"Sore loser." Gwen mumbles in front of us.

"Am not." She is right though, if I didn't fail horribly at poker I would not be wearing this vile outfit.

"The ugly look on your face says otherwise." She goes on

"I'm gonna ignore the fact that you just called me ugly because I'm a changed being. But if I wasn't your face would be under my fucking shoe right now." I say to her in a threatening tone.

"What!?" She asks turning to face me, her face slightly pink. She is too easy.

"Shut up you guys! And Angelina stop threatening people!" Kayla screams as she steps between us." Can't you guys just behave today. You are killing the mood. And Kay looks like she is about to cry"

I turn to look at Kay only to find her sitting on the floor with her eyes closed. "Longest elevator ride ever" she mutters to herself. And right at that moment the elevator doors ding open." Oh lord praised, time to get shit faced" she gets up and practically runs out of the little space and she skips down the hall. Halfway down she decides to stop and wait for us.

"Why did you stop?" I ask her when we reach her.

"I remembered that I don't know the password thingy or the suite number to be honest."

We all laugh at her.

~~~~~~
The crowd of people is cheering loudly, their loud screams only encouraging us to go harder even though most of their faces are a blur. Adrenaline pumping into my veins. We continue moving our bodies in grinding sync with each other and the music and I feel a layer of sweat form on my skin. What started as me dancing all by my self to a dance hall classic quickly turned into a dance off with me and Kay facing anyone who dared to challenge us. We were currently grinding on each other since no one wanted to battle us anymore. I guess we won.
My eyes search the crowd for that pair of emerald eyes and dark curls, but they are no where in sight. He wasn't even here when we arrived and as you can imagine it was very awkward for a while until the alcohol started kicking in.
The song ends and Kay drags me to the bar and orders two shots
"That was so fun we should do it again!" She shouts over the loud music. Her words are a bit slurred and I wonder how she managed to be so coordinated earlier.
"I know! Never so much fun in my life." I say to her catching my breath.
"To our victory! Dance hall queens!" She shouts as she grabs one of the shots placed between us and raises the small glass in the air.
"Dancehall queens!" I shout back at her and tilt my head back taking the shot. One drink won't hurt. It immediately burns the back of my throat. I cough a bit too hard, my eyes watering slightly and Kay starts to laugh at me. OK maybe it hurt a bit
"Lightweight." A deep voice says behind me sounding amused. I turn around and I'm met by a dirty blonde with gray eyes.
"Exactly what I thought." Kay adds still laughing.
