I sighed as I watched the rain pounding outside. It had been like this all day, and I started to suspect it wouldn't be stopping. I heard a ping from my phone. Wondering who it could be, I tapped the message. It was from Alexandra, my closest and only sister, and my best friend. "Hi Becca!" It read, I grinned whilst sighing. "You know I hate that nickname. Just call me Rebecca.". I swear I could hear her laugh, but I most likely imagined it. I turned off my phone and rolled over on my bed to face the stars on my ceiling. Suddenly, I felt as if I was being watched, a pair of eyes was burning me with their stare. I slowly looked over and saw a doll. It was out of place, not in the corner with the rest. I sat up to go put it back, when I noticed something. The doll was looking straight at me. Motionless eyes seemed to stare into my soul. Its mouth was stretched into a wide, toothy grin. I realised, this wasn't one of my dolls. I squinted at it, and saw a slight pinkish-red blood stain on its frilly cream dress. I glanced behind me and saw a horrible sight. Alexandra was laying on her bed, dead. I quickly set my gaze back on the doll. But, it had moved. Its place was unknown. I woke with a start, and felt something wet. I had drenched the sheets with sweat. I immediatly glanced over at Alexandra. She was sleeping peacefully, safe and sound. I let out a sigh of relief. And looked over at the clock. 3:30AM. I  should probably get back to sleep, I thought. I awoke again to Alexandra shaking me, a worried expression bracing her face. "Rebecca are you alright?" She asked nervously. "Fine." I mumbled back. Thinking back to me dream, I whipped over to the doll collection in the corner. Nothing unusual. "What's wrong?" Alexandra questioned.

"Nothing."
