Emma Black: The Forgotten Potter

Chapter 2

"Dad! I see the Weasley's! Harry must be with them!" I shouted excitedly, waving my hands around, trying to get them to notice me. Apparently they were too far away.

Sirius chuckled. "Emma, darling, lets get you a trolley. We've only just entered King's Cross Station."

"Ugh, okay," I grumbled. I haven't seen my friends all summer! I mean, yeah, I hung out with Cho a lot, but only because she was the only other Hogwarts student in my area!

My dad and I wandered over to the trolleys. I couldn't help but noticed the usual: muggles staring at me. Yeah, I was wearing muggle clothes, and yeah my dad was trying to fit in as well. But not many muggles carry around owls.

Oblivious to the staring, my dad loaded my stuff onto the trolley and walked with me to the barrier to platform 9 3/4. I looked around for the Weasley's, but they must have already gone inside.

"Together?" Sirius asked me.

"Together," I confirmed. I grabbed the handles of my trolley and pushed.

Once I had said my goodbye to my father, I got on the train, in search of the compartment of my friends. Once I finally found them, I put my trunk away.

"Harry, do you wanna head down to the prefect compartment with me?" I asked my fellow prefect.

"Yeah," Harry replied, obviously not wanting to leave Ginny.

"Well, come on then!" I said, feeling exasperated. I grabbed his wrist pulled him away. We ran into none other than Draco Malfoy, when I was still pulling Harry along.

"Well, Potter, looks like you have a new girlfriend? Does Weaslette know?" Draco said coolly. Harry opened his mouth to say something, but quickly shut his mouth before he would say something stupid.

"Cmon," Harry said, glaring at Draco.

When we were a safe distance away, I hissed to Harry, "Learn to keep your tongue! I don't want the world to know that we are related. Now lets GO!"

No one knew about my secret. No one except for Harry, Sirius, and Hermione. And I wanted it to stay that way.
