Chapter 2 - Jayden
Pollution filled the air around me. It was midday and I was looking through the waste bins outside Burger King. I've always wanted to work in Burger King but I don't think I'd be able to withstand the temptation, hot, greasy food just within my grasp. I'd probably get sacked before the first week!
After about fifteen minutes of searching I was rewarded with a mouldy burger and two tiny chips. I've had enough of scavenging through bins to get food. I would do anything for a decent meal!
I got caught looking through the bins once. I was outside Chico's which is a high class diner in the centre of Town'
I'd never usually look for food in this sort of area because there's too many people, too much security, but that day was different. I'd had a tip-off that there was an all-you-can-eat buffet in Chico's. I couldn't afford to miss it, it was risky, but there's always loads of decent food left over because everyone's too polite to clear their plates.
