"Is that all you got?" Alan scoffed. It was moments like this one that made me think that maybe he was not as normal as he claims to be.

"I'm letting you win, but you're right. I should at least try" I lied. Truth is the kid was strong. When I first met him, he was merely a walking stick. Of course, that really hasn't changed, but it is his physically weak and pathetic demeanor that probably interest me the most from Alan. No feature in his lumpy body said dangerous. I punched his guts making him take several steps back before he collapsed on the ground.

"Been practicing I see. Now help me up."

My name is Sophia no last name. I am, for lack of words, an assassin. I like to think of myself as the ballerina with cool tricks hidden under her tutu. Here's trick number one: glock 19. I carry a gun with me all the time because you can't ever be too careful. For the sake of the talk, let's make it clear that I don't even trust my uncle or Alan completely. I tell Alan only what he needs to know and tell him nothing more or less. Don't worry trust issues go both ways in our relationships.

I extend my hand towards him not bothering if he couldn't reach for it.

"Sophia come closer! I need a break" he whined. I wasn't the one insisting to keep going at it. Don't get any wrong ideas what we were doing was strictly work related. Work that involve a lot of practice. He believed that I needed someone to practice my "karate" with, and I didn't really denied it. I would probably be charged with first degree murder, assassination of a police officer, conspiracy against the nation, vandalism, invasion of Private property, and much more. The first and second charges are good enough to put me in dead row without any questions asked.

"Maybe if you were paying attention to me and my skills you wouldn't be hurting." Alan is gay. There was times when he would convince me to watch chick flicks. I have exactly one word for them: corny. Back to Alan, he basically gave me this whole internet tour of hot male actors. He claimed that this would come in handy some day. At time's I need to watch the chick flicks to see the style of girls nowadays or to get ideas of how to cutely cover all my weapons.

"Hey! Whatever, at least I'm not the one who gets turned on by guns!" I laughed at the absurd insinuation. Ever since he found out I owned a gun he got the idea of me getting turned on by guns. That you use guns doesn't mean you get turned on by them, I thought to myself.

"If you say so," I replied, letting him have it this time. He noticed I wasn't getting any closer to him then I already was so he got up himself. He flip the few hair he had and walked away. Well that's a good way to make a diva exit.

"You're an ass Sophia!" He screamed over his shoulder. Drama queens will always be drama queens.

"I get that a lot!" I walked pass the torture devise towards the corner of the room. Just because I'm an assassin doesn't mean I like running. I detest running but strangely I'm good.

"Hey before I forget, are you going tonight to the club?" The question didn't take me by surprise. Actually I was expecting this question ever since he came this morning.

"Alan Garcia you're the most annoying geek ever in history of the most annoying geeks. You like to read those cheesy novels for crying out loud. Why would you want to go to a club?" Alan despite being a geek, loved partying. Any kind of party is his type of party. What strike me as odd was that he wanted me to go today, of all days.

"Don't go hating on my novels. Their more interesting than both our lives put together." I raised an eyebrow. Those books were anything but the real. I lived an exciting life with guns and I didn't need a guy. I don't see what part of those novels are better then my life. For starters they depend too much on the guy to safe them, they are pathetic, helpless, and annoying.

"Fine. It's better than mine. Anyways come with me. Maybe we find that one guy you almost killed but you didn't. Aw I bet it was fate...." I tuned out the rest of his rant. It wasn't even funny how he would go on about this. I didn't regret telling him about my previous yet last endeavor.

THINGS I DON'T BELIEVE IN:

1) Fate

2) Love

3) People and good intentions.

4) Fairy tales: Let's just say I'm not the fairy tale type of girl.

5)Happy Endings

6)Good Villains

I know for sure I'm not part of the good guys. Good guys don't have a profession in which they kill people innocent or guilty. I have killed seven people without a second thought or question. Why? I get orders I follow. If you think twice on killing your target, you'll become the targets target and that is by far the stupidest thing you can ever do. I made the mistake of hesitation once and almost became crows food. My lifestyle is not fate or destiny it's just the way life is. You see people only see what they choose to see.

"What are you thinking bubble face?" Alan bud in.

"I'm thinking of how stupid your prediction/ hypothesis is. I mean have some common sense. First, I didn't kill him because I was under pressure. Second, it wouldn't be the first I kill without a thinking bad about it." I mask my face to only show indifference and turned my attention back to my water bottle. The truth was that I didn't kill him because my uncle had asked me not to have any collateral damage. I had one shot and one shot alone to get him but his friends got in the way before my gun was out of my hands.

"Dude if you were a guy I would have totally gotten a boner. Too bad you're not."

"Keep in your pants. I got enough last night." You know those people that aren't all badass but their ego was too big for them to admit it, well that's not me. As you can see my mouth was as big as my ego and I don't like taking things back, even if it's a lie. If I said something that offended someone I don't care or apologies.

"Sophia you're unbelievable. You're cheating on-"

"Save it. I don't need no granny things about cheating on a guy who you don't even know. I'll go with one condition." I laughed evilly having picture my idea perfectly. He was going to have to do it if he wanted me to go. I was putting my life on the line for this. If my uncle found out he would behead me without any explanations asked. The fact that he has been missing for a couple of weeks now had me nervous. If he got caught by undesirable people we would be in a rather sticky situation. According to him, he was leaving because the guy he send me to kill and failed to do so was bringing us problems and he was going to solve them.

"What is it?" His nose scrunched up. It's like a storm, you know it's coming but you don't know how much it'll last.

"You're going to have to dress up like a girl."
