Beautiful - Chapter two.

The car journy from my place to Kates took more then seven hours. As i entered the big city, i checked my phone.

-eight missed calls and thirteen messages- It read.

No doubt all from Niall, i sighed, picturing his broken face as i pulled out of our driveway. I needed a break from him, from my old life, from my old home. 

Suddenly my phone schreeched sharply from my pocket, making me jump a mile. 

"Hello?" I mummbeled lazily. I was unbelievebly tired from the long car journey.

"Hello? Soph! Jeez, so i see you finnally decided to answer my call's right?" Kate's buzzing voice bleared out from the small phone. 

"Sorry, I must of not heard the ring or something, what's up?" I tried to sound intrested, or happy. But honestly, I was so upset and tired I really wasn't in the mood for a long conversation or 'small talk' as some people call it. 

"Look, babe, it's eleven o'clock at night. Where the hell are you!" Kate actually sounded really concerned. 

"Huh?" I asked, turning to the clock, eleven? Already! I must of been driving for hours, because I left at about half two before. 

"Oh, um, Im near your house now." I smiled. "Ill be there in like, five minutes ok?"

"Sure sure, in a bit babes." Kate laughed, 

Laughing, I hung up. 

God, I haven't seen Kate in months, I can't wait to catch up on everything that's been happening. It sounded like she wanted to tell me something a couple of day's ago, before all this heartbreak happened. 

"Look Karms, we're here!" I smiled at her, as I pulled into Kate's glamourous, pretty little cottage. 

Karma wriggeled about in her seat, wagging her tail excitedly. Karma absolutely loved Kate, and vise versa. 

I turned the gas off just to see Kate running out from the pale blue door, waving excitedly and running towards the car manically. 

"SOPH!" She screamed at the top of her voice, and Im sure as hell that the neighbours must be used to her bellowing voice by now. 

"Kate!" I laughed, being yanked and squeezed so tightly i thought i might die, by the petite blonde below me. 

"Jeez babe i'v missed you so much!" He happy voice made me forget all about the past few hours. 

"How could that complete dick head do that to you? Come on, come inside and get warm." She smiled, whilst shaking her head, obviously at Niall. 

Karma ran up behind Kate and bounced all over her, while I dragged my big heafty suitcase through the white, pebble path, leading up into the house. 

"Welcome to your new home! For now..." Kate laughed, whilst presenting her gorgeous, flashly house. I was short of breath as I entered. Her home was fabulous, so classy, and modern. 

"Wow..." I think this was the first time i have ever been speechless. 

"I know right!" Kate sniggered, whilst dragging me into the lounge. 

"Sit, sit!" She motciend with her hand for me to sit, while she got two glasses of white wine from the fridge in the cornor.

"Tell me everything. Right from the start." She said, leaning in and concentrating on every word that left my mouth. 

I told her everything. On how i came home early from work, heard loud moaning's coming from my bedroom. How i paniked and thought Niall was in pain or something, and foolishly walked in on them getting right into it. It took about two minutes before Niall actually realized i was there. 

I shivered at the memorie. 

"That son of a bitch....." Kate shook her head. Angrlily.

I bit my lips hard, tears threating to fall down my rosey cheeks any second. 

"Oh babe, your better off without him!" Kate pulled me into a huge bear hug. And i never wanted to let go.

"I know." I sighed, but the thing was, i didnt want to be without him. 

"Come on you." Kate smiled sadly at me, senseing that i oblviously was having withdraw simptons from my former lover. 

"Lets get you to bed." Kate half dragged me up the stairs, like i was falling to pieces. Well, It was true, i was falling to pieces. 

On the inside anyway.
