I am there in the land of Ithica and home of Odysseus. I look overhead seeing two suitors in his home. Along with Odysseus disguised as a beggar. I see his wife and son throughout the land.
I stand upon a large hill seeing all of his home and most of his land.
I see, suddenly, his wife begging at one the suitors' feet to see the beggar, but he refuses until nightfall.
Now it's nightfall and Penelope is crying with a bow and arrow at her knees. She soon got up and followed Odysseus and the suitors outside to a court down the land. I wonder what they're even doing. How will I get him alone?
The as I'm thinking, a loud whistle goes around the land startling me, almost making me scream, but I contain myself.
Odysseus, now that he has revealed himself, he and his son Telemachus asked if he could shoot to bow to prove himself. What's the point of even shooting that thing?
Odysseus was finally about to shoot the bow what seems like years after he was studying every inch of the bow. He was aiming perfectly, just as the suitors shouted backhanded compliments towards Odysseus. Though he shot well, Telemachus and his dad finally reunited. I wish I cared I will be stripping a father from a helpless family, but I don't.
I see Odysseus searching for Penelope. I think it's the best thing that they think everything is over when a whole other hell is about to hit them. As he searches for her and as their son goes off to his room, it's time to get him alone. I make my way down to his home to get him alone.
I run with all my might trying to get him before he gets any closer to the house.
"Odysseus. Sir!" I yelled. He stopped dead in his tracks. We were far away enough for his family not to hear. The suitors were gone after he got the bow and arrow. It's perfect timing.
He turns around, startled. "Who are you?"
I start to smirk. I have him right where I want him. "You want my honesty?"
"Yeah, but I need to find my wife. I was only with her for a short time. After she had to go, Athena told me to keep fighting. She helped me kill the suitors for my freedom. My son is new to this. I need to talk to them. It's been so long. Please, what do you need? I don't even know you. I worked hard for this."
"This won't take long. Hades sent me here." I could see the worry in his eyes. "I am here to kill you."
He fell to his knees. "Please no. I will offer you peace even though I want you gone, please spare me. We can kill Hades together."
"I'm sorry. I'm the only one who's going to kill Hades. I'll say goodbye to your family for you." I smirked, kicking him as hard as I could in the face making him bleed.
I grabbed my knife and sliced his head off with blood spewing everywhere.
I walk off with blood all over me. I walked closer to his house and wrote 'goodbye' over his front door in blood.
40 days later...
I go to the Underworld to deliver the news to Hades.
"Hades I-" I cut off by a blade meeting my neck. His eyes glowed into mine. That was the last thing I ever saw.
