Nicole Vintali ^^^^^^^^^^
-------------------------
My name is Nichole and I am 23 years old. I've lived here in Asti, a small town in Italy for almost four years now. I was sent away by father when I was 19 in order to protect me.
He is a powerful man, I'm not quite sure what he's working with but I know that he has a lot of enemies. That's why I'm here.
For the moment I'm sitting in the sun at my balcony with a book and a glass of soda. I have a few friends here and I work at a small cafe. For a girl like me who lived with rules like "you have to ask if you want to meet someone" and similar, it's fantastic to be able to do anything I want to.
A knock at my door interrupts my thoughts. With a small sigh I leave my comfortable place in the sun to open the door but the person is already inside.
"George. You're supposed to come next week." I say suspicious.
"Sister. How lovely to see you."
When I moved my father made me agree that someone would visit and check on me every month.
"What do you want?"
"Must I have a reason to meet my sister?" my brother smirks and takes a seat at the balcony.
"I know you have one."
He's quiet for a minute before he says "Sure. I'm here to take you home."
"Why? I haven't done anything wrong."
"Maybe not. But you're going to come with me. Father wants to talk with you."
"He can call me." I say getting irritated.
Let's get this straight, I don't hate my father but we don't exactly get along very well.
"Nicole. There's no point arguing with me because you're coming with me even if I have to drag you by your feet."
"Jerk." I say but I know he's right so I pack some necessary stuff.
After an hour of packing I walk out to find an empty balcony.
"George? Let's go" I find him going through my fridge and I slam the door shut.
"Easy, we're leaving now."
George takes the passenger seat so I have to sit in the backseat. I hate sitting in the backseat, it makes me feel like a underdog.----------------------------
