Aubrey's POV
A shock of pain went through my body as I looked up I remember the color red was everywhere I felt the shark looking for an eye to punch.
I found an eye I hit it as hard as I could. It let me go I had no feeling in my left leg I swam as fast as I could to the surface of the water I felt the air and screamed as loud as I could "SHARK ATTACK!!" I got pulled back under and felt a piercing pain go straight through by leg.
I saw Dan, Mae and Phil get in a smaller boat and come towards me. They came to me and reached for my hands and got me in the boat they layed me down flat on my back. Dan started calling for help Phil used a towel and wrapped it around my leg to try and stop the bleeding.
Mae started the boat and made it go as fast as it could towards the mainland the ambulance was waiting and sirens flashing. I was being put on a yellow stretcher and being put in a big white car. Everything went by in a blur and I never knew what was happening. I felt pain every few minutes.
I heard lots of new voices saying "will she be ok ?" and "she will she will be fine"
I was just trying to forget about the whole swimming date. The last thing I remember is waking up in my room at Dan and Phil's house and when I tryed to stand up I fell almost immediately then I looked up and saw Phil he helped me up and gave me a pair of cruches and i put my arm around his shoulder and he helped me walk to his living room. To see Dan and Mae looking so relieved.
"how long was I asleep?" I asked them
"around 2 days" Mae replied
"oh... well I'm glad that i'm here now"
Phil's POV
"ummm Aubrey can I talk to you for a second?"
"sure what is it?"
"can we go outside"
"sure" Aubrey said a little confused
" I have been wanting to talk to you for a while it's about the date"
"oh"
"i'm sorry it didn't work out the way we all thought it would it turns out that where we were swimming was a place where they through out out old meat prosessers so sharks go there to eat"
" well i'm ok now so we don't need to say sorry anymore" just then Phil and I both leaned in for the sweetest and softest kiss ever. then he said
'' Aubrey Lynn West will do me the honor of being the best girlfriend I will have ever had"
"yes Phil that would make me feel the best I have all week long!"
I leaned in and gave Phil a peck on the cheek then stood up took my cruches and walked in on Mae and Dan in the middle of a makeout session when they finally can up for air it was because they heard Phil and I having a disruptive laughing cough session.
They looked at us then each other and were blushing nonstop and then they told us that they were dateing also so. Then Mae finally said
"by the way Aubrey you have to wipe a pad of achol on your ummm...wound"
Aubrey's POV
later that night I woke up multiple times in cold sweat reliving the attack again and again and again. The blood the pain the rush. Got me every time i woke up so when I woke up for the last time I screamed and Phil came to my room as fast as possible and i asked him if he would sleep by my in case I got scared again.
He took me and cradeled me in his arms and he whispered he will always be there for me.The next morning when I woke up I smelt bacon and eggs so I got up and shook Phil he complained but smelt bacon too. We got up and raced to the table then I realized Mae was cooking and I said I will pass
"why?" Phil asked
"because I don't like my eggs crunchy and my bacon raw"
"it can't be that bad!" Phil said as he took a bite of eggs and spit i on Dan.
"MAE!!!!!" I screamed
"WHAT?" she hollered
"PHIL SPIT YOUR EGGS OUT ON DAN!" she just sighed and threw her food away and confessed that she trys to make it good but it tastes like poison.
"WHO WANTS TO WALK DOWN THE STREET TO STARBUCKS' Dan screamed from the bathroom
we all agreed and walked to starbucks.When we got there everyone got a muffin and coffee. We walked back to the house withoout a care in the world.
