So here is another Jarida Story!

This story would take place before my other story (Frozen arrows to the heart)

It explains itself so I don't need much of a description

I hope you like it!

(I don't own any of the characters just the story)

"But Ma! do I have to?" Merida whined as her mother roughly guided her down different hallways in the castle.

"Merida!" Her mother said sternly "It is important that every princess knows how to dance!"

"Do I have to right now?"

"Yes, Merida. The mucisans are practicing in the great hall downstairs for the ball so that means you need to practice too!"

"ughh..." merida groaned as her mother pushed merida through the door to her bedroom

"Alright," said the queen as she pushed back her hair and stood up straight "Now here are the basic steps"

Merida's mom then proceeded to teach her the steps to the dance she would have to do a hundred times at the ball. The queen danced as the male and after many practices, her mother released her and stood back

"Now, dance like you have a partner. I want to see you be graceful!"

"yeah.. graceful..." merida muttered

Merida put her hands where a male partner would be and began to sway to the music. she felt ridiculous and because her mother was watching it made her even more nervous. Soon one wrong step sent her tumbling to the ground

"Oww..." merida exclaimed rubbing her head.

The queen sighed.

"merida. it's left foot, right foot, twirl. not-"

"not right foot, left foot, fall on my face?!" merida interrupted. her irritation bubbling

her mother rubbed her temples

"merida-" her sentence was cut off by a knock at the door

"come in!" the queen called followed by a short maid entering with a quick curtsee she said

"milady. we need your approval on the dinner and linens for the ball."

"yes of course. Merida stay here and practice."

a moment later the door was shut and Merida was left alone in the room.

"Gahhh!" she said throwing herself onto the bed

"Having a bad day?" said a boy with white hair and an annoying grin who had just appeared over merida's bed.

Merida gasped and on instinct punched Jack frost right in the nose

"Owww!" jack said floating away from her and landing in the middle of her room, holding his nose.

"What was that for?"

"You scared me!" Merida replied

Jack then gave her these puppy dog eyes that were suppost to make merida feel sorry for him but instead it only made her more irritated.

"I'm not in the mood jack!" she shot at him

After a minute more of his eyes she sighed

"let me see." she said reluctantly and examined jack's face
