Delila

"Sorry if I startled you" she said indistinctly swearing under her breath.
"I'm Delila I work at thoroughfare look out. I can see you now." She was right across the rocky mountains and cliffs was another lookout.
"Yeah I can see you" henry lied, it was to dark to see the tower he must have been looking in the right direction, the next message confirmed that.
"Yeah I can fully see you but you totally lying!" Delila was clearly good at reading people clearly. All of a sudden a light flickererd on in the distance the thoroughfare lookout Towers light was now glistening surrounded by. lots of little stars and trees.
"So then why you here...sorry I didn't catch your name." Said Delila.
"Henry" he replied.
"Cool..so hank why you here," she said
"First off never call me hank..ever...umm I was an office worker and I needed to leave. I'm from boulder so it was a long drive but worth the 80 whatever days." He explained quickly.
"Right...there's more I know it,anyone that comes here has things going on at home or family has died, which is it."she demanded.
" look"said henry slowly"I need sleep so I'm gonna hit the uncomfortable bale of hay"
"Okay g'night" said Delila.
Henry...henry oi get up" shouted Delila over the radio.
"I'm up jeez" henry muttered.
"What do you want." He stammered.
"You had fourteen hours of sleep, its six forty five," said Delila
"Get up"
Henry did as he was told standing slowly up massaging a pain in his back.
"Okay I'm up what d'you need?" He asked.
"I want to show you something, its behind you,"
Yeah I see it,"said henry looking at a map lay out on the table.
"This is the Osborne fire finder, invented in 1914 by W.B....."
"Osborne?" Guessed Henry.
"You use this to spot, you guessed it, fi- what the shit?"shouted Delila
" what is it"said henry beginning to worry.
"Nothing. Um, you use this to- oh piss off!"screamed Delila
" Good god- language, lady" exclaimed henry banging his fist on the fire finder.
"Out your west- facing window are you seeing what I'm seeing."
Henry plunged his hand deep into his pocket and found his compass and looked left.
"Are those frickin' fireworks?!" Panicked Delila.
"Whoa. That's not legal, right?"babbled henry placing his hand firmly on his head.
" uh,no" Delila acknowledged "you need to get down there right now and stop them, fire danger is through the shitting roof"she demanded screaming down the radio.
" Is that really my job?" He asked bewildered by this sudden errand placed upon him.
"Your job is what ever I say it is. The closest ranger is,like, two days away."
She said, henry noticed the worry in her voice and asked back
"So what, do I, like, go down and kick the shit out of 'em."
"Nnnnooooo" shrieked Delila"go steal there shit."
"By the looks of it, they're at the river go now, its probably a bunch off teenagers, assholes"Henry picked up his heavy backpack and set off, he walked down the small steps and passed a sign for"jonesey lake"
"Yeah that's probably where they are head there its marked on your map" explained Delila slowly, she was clearly tired.
"Oh yeah I... Um almost forgot around the site you can see supply caches the codes one two three" added Delila quickly waking up more.
as he walked along he crossed a cache box and copied the info onto his map.
"So are there a lot of them in the woods?" He asked.
No reply.
As he took a moment to appreciate the wilderness. He could see for miles here and really did appreciate it.
"What, yeah there's lads of boxes here" said Delila sorrily
After twenty minutes he came to an opening. A small hook lay at the edge of a huge drop.
Henry, being the amazing climber he was, hooked a rope onto it and abseiled down. Five metres from the floor and Delila called.
"Hi, sorry for bothering you, but hurry the shit up hank, the fire works are dying out and I'm scared we'll miss 'em"
At that moment the rope snapped and he hit the floor his back hurt like hell now.
"Shit" muttered henry down the radio
"What..what is it henry tell me."
"I fell hit my back, shit!"
"Good god - language man" copied Delila from earlier that day.
"Oh and sorry for being so pushy last night, I was drunk, and when I'm drunk I become more of a pretentious douche bag." Delila carried on.
"No problem"
After a bit he came to another small opening shaded By a rock.
Beer cans littered the floor.
"Holy shit, Delila I found their hide out" whispered henry.
"They have a campfire too" he added
"Seriously, idiots, you know, they colour coded the fire danger signs in case people were illiterate but I guess that it didn't take into account just plain stupid."
"Shut up" whispered henry
"Wha.."
There's something in the distance I think its watching me.'
Shit, who is it" exclaimed Delila quietly.
The man turned and slowly walked away out of sight.
"I can't tell, he was up on a cliff and has just disappeared"
"For chrissake henry"
"Go now find the kids and confront them, we'll get back to this." He heard loud music playing in the distance and clothes splayed out on a rock.
"Yeah,Delila I think they may be naked"
"Ahhhhh you scared hankrey"
"Really, hankrey, dumb ass"chuckled Henry.
He turned a corner and saw a branch and from it hung a bra.
" D I think its to naked girls, ohhhhh no n.o"
Henry gulped on the floor lay a pair of
"P...anties, Delila,"
"You having a stroke or something."
Said Delila.
"No D panties on the floor, they're skinny dipping."
"Oh shit, best confront them now,"
Henry stormed round the corner and saw a lake,a small one at that but beautiful all the same.
From across it he could see two girls, naked but the setting sun shaded them so he couldn't see anything.
"Is that a guy over there," said one of them.
Henry walked over to the stereo and threw it in the lake.
"COOL STEREO" Henry shouted to them.
"Whoa! HEY! PUT THAT DOWN!" They screamed.
"Urrgh. Seriously that was expensive!"
"COOL IT with the fireworks,"shouted henry scared he would get into trouble.
"OKAY WE WONT LIGHT ANY MORE,"
They bellowed
"Ugh this guys creepy, Chelsea!" Shouted on, clearly the other was called Chelsea.
"I know, lil,"
"Don't pull anymore shit, youre pissed, alright. Henry shouted to Chelsea and lily both of which were drunk.
" who the hell are you creep" shouted Chelsea at henry.
"He's just one of those lonely guys who lakes to boss people around" shouted lily.
"You don't know a damn thing about me"
He shouted, slowly losing his temper and patients.
"We know you're a PERVERT! How long have you been there."
"Omg is that what you are? Barf me out," shouted Chelsea in response to Lily's statement.
They proceeded to run behind a rock on the small island on the river they were on.
"How'd it go" said Delila over the radio.
"Its done" muttered henry.
"That's ominous, get back to your tower we'll talk more in the morning,"
On his route back he got go a cave.
Apparently ,according to Delila, that the locked gate had been locked since blood had been founded trailed inside but no body was found.
That was all though.

Member that cave its a big plot point later on.Hey henry," it was the next morning and henry was waking up.
"Umm.. There is something I should have told you about that creepy dude,"
"What, do you know who it was." He exclaimed sitting bolt upright in bed.
"Yeah well, this place its..........outside...
People come and go as they please, its madness," said Delila sarcastically.
"Really, come one," said henry. He laughed.
When he got up he noticed his stuuf everywhere and his typewriter had been thrown out the window.
"Well the typewriter has been thrown out the window." He said over the radio.
"Stay inside" said D worryingly.
"Someone broke in they ransacked it."
"Holy shit, I'll let the forest service know." She replied
"I put in a call,"
"Okay cool um I think it was the women at the lake."
"I'm going to call patty my friend, she works in Cody. Keeping a list of everyone in and out in....forever"
"I want you to feel safe here"
"Just point me in the direction of the nearest weapons cache, I'll fell safer than the pope in his little car."
"Really, infinite amounts of alone time and a gun bad idea,"
"Grenades" he suggested.
"Look wan' a job to do go fix the power line the wind cut it out last night. Its north from that cave you were in earlier."
