Chapter 14

I watched as they took Scott out to the ambulance and Sheriff came to talk to me. "Bella can you tell me who did this" Sheriff asked "Who do you thinks did this" I said "Was it Peter and Kate" Sheriff said "Ding, ding, ding" I said "Okay let's get you home" Sheriff said "Okay I'll go find Parrish" I said "What why" Sheriff asked "Well that is usually the person who takes me home" I said "Well today I am taking you home" Sheriff said "Okay thanks" I said as we left to Sheriff's car. The car ride home was very quiet because I was to sad to say anything and I think Sheriff understood it. When we got to my house, Derek was waiting for me and he didn't look very happy.

"Hey Bella we need to talk" Derek said "Hey and not tonight it has been a rough night" I said as I walked right passed him "Hey Derek take it easy on her, she just watched her friend die" Sheriff said to Derek "Oh I'll talk to her about it" Derek said. Then I was in my room when Derek walked in and I all I could was hug him and start crying and then I got a call from Melissa asking me to go to the hospital.

Derek drove me to the hospital. I walked into the hospital and I saw everyone standing around waiting for me. "What's going on" I asked "Come Bella sit down" Melissa said "Okay but what is going on" I asked "There is some bad news" Melissa said, I could see her holding back the tears. "What is it" I heard Lydia say from next to me "Scott was stabbed and he didn't make it" Melissa said as she let a tear fall. I couldn't handle it so I ran out of the hospital and I was crying I ran into the woods. I was running and then I stopped and I turned around to see Kate and Peter.

I was so mad I just started fighting with them and I was losing horribly. Then out of nowhere Derek came to help, well he came to help after I was thrown into a tree. After a few minutes they stopped fighting and we started to talk. "You killed him you bitch" I said "Oh well I meant to do that" Kate said "Well why did you" Derek asked "Because she needs to learn as lesson" Peter said "What lesson" I said "That if you don't come to listen to us then we are just going to kill everyone you care about" Kate said "Well fuck that" I said as I ran off.

Derek's pov:

Bella ran off and I stayed to talk to Kate and Peter to get them to leave Bella alone. It hurt me to see Bella like this, her life is falling apart. "What the hell so you are going to hurt her to make you guys feel beller since she won't live with you that is just stupid" I said "No it's not it's perfectly normal for our family" Peter said "Whatever" I said and then I left. I went looking for Bella but I have no idea where she could be. I was looking everywhere for Bella and I couldn't find her.

I decided to go home and Bella was sitting on the couch. "Hey Bella where did you go" I asked "I came right home" Bella said "Oh okay that's good" I said "Derek I'm tired I'm gonna go to bed" Bella said "Okay I'll see you in the morning" I said. Then Bella went to bed while I made me something to eat.

Bella's pov:

After I talked to Derek I went to bed and I was laying in bed staring up at the ceiling. Then I heard something coming from the window I looked over and it was Isaac so I let him in. We were sitting on my bed and it was really quiet until I broke the silence. "It's all my fault" I said "What do you mean" Isaac asked "If I wouldn't of gone to talk to Kate and Peter, Scott wouldn't be dead" I said "No Bella you stop that it isn't your fault" Isaac said "But it is my fault" I said "No it is not now stop blaming yourself" Isaac said "Okay I'm tired i'm going to sleep" I said as I layed down to go to sleep. "Well I'm staying the night" Isaac sad a he grabbed a pillow and a blanket from the closet "Whatever" I said. Then we went to bed.

Isaac woke up before I did, he was sitting on my bed staring at me until I woke up. "Hey Isaac" I said with a smile on my face "Hey Bella coming let's get ready for school" Isaac said "Do we have to" I said "Yes we do" Isaac said and then Derek walked in and Isaac jumped off my bed. "Hey come out here please both of you" Derek said "Okay" Isaac and I said at the same time. When we went out to the main room we saw Kate and Peter. "What the hell are they doing here" Isaac said as I tried to go back to my room but Derek stopped me before I could. Derek grabbed my arm to hold me still "Derek let me go" I said "No not until you hear them out" Derek said "Bella we are sorry we were just mad that you didn't want to be with us" Peter said "Yeah right who are you going to kill next" I said "No one we are sorry we are not going to hurt you anymore we swear" Kate said "Yeah right no Derek let me go" I said "Fine" Derek said as he let me go and I went to my room.

Isaac and I are on our way to school, we decided to walk today. The way to school was really quiet which I hated and then Isaac stopped. "Do you think Kate and Peter were telling the truth that they are going to leave you alone" Isaac asked as I stopped next to him "I'm not sure anymore but we need to go or we will be late" I said "Says the one who didn't want to go to school" Isaac said as we followed me. The rest of the way to school was quiet. We were right in front of the school when I stopped Isaac and kissed him.

When we got to first period it didn't seem right something was off well also today is also the first day of school since Scott died. I sat down in my normal seat. First period was boring as usual and when it was over I was happy. I was on my way to second period when I bumped into this boy. "Oh I'm so sorry" I said "No it's my fault I should've been watching where I was going" He said "I'm Bella by the way" I said with a smile "Oh I'm Hunter" He said "What's your second period" I asked "Math" He said "Oh mine to I can show there if you want" I said "That would be great" He said as we started walking to math class. When we got class everyone was confused about me actually showing someone to class but whatever.

Hunter's pov:

I was walking to go to second period when I bumped into this girl. "Oh I'm so sorry" She said "No it's my fault I should've been watching where I was going" I said "I'm Bella by the way" with a beautiful smile "I'm Hunter" I said "What's your second period" She asked "Math" I said "Oh mine to I can show you there if you want" She said "That would be great" I said. We got to class and I could tell it was awkward. I think I'm going to like it here now I just hope I can find a pack even though I could make my own pack since I am an alpha but I want to find one instead.

The rest of the day was boring and when school ended I got picked up my brother who is also a werewolf, his name is Ian. "Hey Ian you are actually here on time" I said "Don't start with me Hunter" He said "Okay, Okay what's wrong with you" I asked "Well let's see here that girl you bumped into in the hallway, you shouldn't hang out with her" He said "Why is that and how do you know I bumped into her" I asked "I was there and she is the werewolf and witch" He said "Wait she is that girl and isn't she evil" I asked "Not yet but eventually when her parents get her to live with her" He said "Whatever you can't control who I'm friends with" I said. Then the rest of the ride home was quiet.

Bella's pov:

When I got home Derek was still mad at me about this morning but I really don't care. I'm in my room doing homework and then out of nowhere I get this feeling that someone is in the room with me. When I turned around I saw Scott. "Scott I was waiting for you to show up, well I thought Mason was going to show up before you but I'm glad to see you" I said "Look Bella I know you are blaming yourself for what happened to me and you need to stop" Scott said "Okay did you really come to see me just to tell me that" I asked "Yes no stop blaming yourself" He said as he faded away. I finished my homework. I'm getting dressed for bed and literally as soon as I got dressed Isaac walked in.

Isaac grabbed the same pillow and blanket he used last night from the closet and laid on the floor next to my bed. "You know you can lay with me if you want" I said "Are you sure" Isaac asked "Yeah I'm sure" I said "Okay" Isaac said as he grabbed his stuff and got on the bed. "Are you sure Derek won't get mad" Isaac asked "I really don't care" I said as I rolled over to go to bed.

When I woke up I saw Isaac smiling at me. "What, why are you staring at me" I asked "I don't know but come on let's get ready for school" Isaac said "School okay I'm getting up" I said as I got up to get ready. "Wait what you actually want to go to school" Isaac asked "Yes now start getting ready" I said "Okay" Isaac said. We are walking to school again because we didn't want to have to be in a car with Derek since he is still mad at me. While we were walking to school something jumped in front of us and we had no idea what it was but it looked like the same animal that jumped in front of me when I crashed. I have to know what that was or who that was.
