Syphrin: The War

The Beginnings

It all started 1 year before the war. I had a family, friends and a life. I was, I am a Marine. The war was fighting over the planet Syphrin and ore indensed world. Over 2.3 million people have lost their lives because of that war, including every one I loved.

My name is Sgt. Scott Adams but everyone calls me Juggernaut. This is my story. I was born on the planet Zion in the year 4000, to a farmer and a lawyer. I was the only child in the family, so there was no one I could play with. Growing up I was a non-social kid, I was always to myself even at dinner and school. I had no friends. Not even a pet.

"SCOTT SCOTT SCOTT GET UP, WERE UNDER ATTACK!" yelled Cpl. Lemins. "What! We are?" I said. Let me restart. It's the year 4021. We're on the planet Syphrin and we're fighting the Glyphil, an alien race. We're fighting for control over the planet. It. Well lets just say they aren't pretty. Me, well that you have to decide for yourself. I am 6'3 and and weigh about 231 pounds. Now the planet is pretty much all volcanoes and no grass there are some trees, but barely any.

Let me tell you about my gear. My gun is a AT-83 Assualt Rifle extremely light and very deadly, it weighs about 10 pounds. My scope is a Honographic sight that can zoom up to 90 yards. My armor is called Nano 2 its a Nano and Carbon fiber mix that is extremely flexable and light and my helmet is a helmet with a linen mask over it. Nothing special, well I dont like goggles and glasses, never have. I haven't told you yet, my bullets are a 10.9mm rounds about 1 and a half inches in earth measurements.

My other gear is 4 smoke grenades, 2 flash and 2 explosive grenades with a tac-pad on my left arm. My favorite thing is that I have a cloaking device. I can turn invisible! Dang, I always leave out something. My side arm is a 9mm pistol called the exephin-45 and nice light gun. Well all of it's light for me at least.

The vehicles well they are some beauties. A Tacticle Jeep with 6 inches of titanium that can hold 5 guys, the 5th a gunner. Our flying vehicle is a Hawk-Strike that can hold 10 people and is capable of destroying and 100 floor building just in case we have 2 small nuclear missles. Our dropship, that babe is huge 2 floors and can hold 900+ people. We jump and we land on our feet. Yep we have special plasma technology that makes is so we don't break any bones or kill ourselfs. But that's beside the point. My squad you'll learn about them later.
