Chpt. 5 : The names Emily, not babe.

For the next 1 and a half weeks I have tried hard to avoid Cameron. It's been difficult hiding from Cameron though. I have basically just been in Lexi's dorm this whole time, sleeping over. Lexi said that Cameron cheated on her so she broke up with him. I didn't realize how low Cameron was.
Today I finally decided to face my fear and go back to my dorm. Lexi didn't want me to but I insisted on going. I couldn't hide from my problems any longer.
I walked into the dorm, it was a couple hours after dinner. Cameron was sleeping on his bed. He looked so down, not his energized self with dark circles under his eyes. I wasn't going to wake him up, he would probably sleep tell morning. I went into the kitchen and got a glass of water, thinking of what I would say to him tomorrow. I was actually nervous, I didn't know how he would react. After thinking for a while I looked at the clock and realized it was already 10. I went to the bathroom, got unready and then went and covered up in bed. Soon I fell asleep.
All of a sudden I was awoken from my sleep by someone yelling.
"Emily wake up Emily wake up," someone said.
My eyes slowly blinked open and looked straight into a set of brown eyes.
"AHHHHHH," I screamed.
"Calm down oh my god it just me, Cameron"he said casually.
"What the hell what time is it," I asked.
"Umm its 4:30 a.m and you have a lot of explaining to do. First of all,WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN," he said, making me jump.
"Holy shit, my god. I was at Lexi's relax. Why don't you tell me why you cheated on Lexi," I said annoyed.
"What I never cheated on Lexi what are you talking about? Why don't you tell me why you left me here worried sick not knowing where you were," he said getting angry.
"Lexi said you did and that's why you broke up. And look I know it wasn't the best for me to just disappear but I have had a hard life and I didn't want to deal with you asking me what happened every second, okay" I said choking down a sob.
"Okay I understand, just know you can talk to me whenever. Got it," he asked.
"Aw I always knew you had a soft side," I said grinning.
"Yeah yeah whatever, goodnight babe," he said with a smirk.
"There you go again, the names Emily not babe so don't call me that" I said with a glare.
"Shhhh babe I'm trying to sleep," he said grinning.
Wow that went 10 times better then I believed it would. I thought that he would totally flip out on me. Well he kind of did, but not as much as I thought he would.
Oh shoot I forgot to ask him more about the Lexi situation, I thought to myself.
I turned over to ask him about it but he was already asleep. Whatever I will just ask him another time. Later I fell asleep thinking about what happened with Lexi and Cameron's past relationship.
