The One That Fell In Love

The whole story

    Once upon a time there was a girl, her name is Kelly. Kelly is eighteen years old and she works at a castle. Her family has been working for the king and queen for years now, they are very close friends. One evening when Kelly was running around in her backyard with her dog she heard a scream.

"Mom? Are you okay?"

She says as she runs inside with the dog following her.

"Mom where are you?"

Kelly says as she looks in her mother's bedroom.

Kelly was worried she didn't get any response from her mother. She found her mother on the bathroom floor.

"Mom!!!" Kelly screams as she starts crying

Kelly calls the police telling them she found her mother on the bathroom floor bleeding out. A ambulance quickly drives to Kelly's house.

"Help her! Please help my mom."

"Ma'am Please calm down we will do everything we can to help your mother now we suggest you go inside your house and lock the doors and wait to hear anything from us. Maybe call a few family members or a friend to talk to." The lady driving the ambulance.

"Okay."

"Is your mom allergic to any medicines for anything we should know about?"

"No."

"Okay, we will call you when we get to the hospital."

"Thank you"

The king and Queen found out about Kelly's mom and asked Kelly if she wanted to work for them.

"You will have everything you need here you will have a room to yourself and you will have money." The king said in a stern tone.

"Thank you sir." Kelly says with a smile

"Anything you need you will have if you need anything don't worry about asking us you can as Derek. You remember Kelly right Derek?"

"Of course i do we used to play together when we were younger. Those were fun days."

A few months after what happened Derek and Kelly became best friends again and Derek's family decided to go on a vacation.

"Mom do I have to go I rather stay here, and besides we shouldn't leave Kelly all alone." Derek says with a smirk.

"Alright but you better be good no parties or anything be the young man you are." The queen says.

"Thank you"

"Kelly make sure you keep him out of trouble."

"Yes, Ma'am."

Even though Kelly was only a year older than Derek, Derek treated her like he was older which was amusing to the king and Queen.

"We will be gone for two months see you when we get back."

"Alright mom have a good time love you."

"Goodbye love you too"

After they shut the door Derek says

"Jeez they never know when to let things go it was one party they act like i made the house explode."

"Well I'd better get back to work."

"Work? Hahaha you're funny my parents are gone it's time for you to take a break have fun you're a normal human being and you deserve to be treated like one no matter what."

"But-"

Derek cut her off as she was going to speak.

"But nothing you know i'm right."

"I guess it couldn't hurt but only for a few."

"Okay let's go." Derek says as he grabs his car keys.

"Where are we going?" Kelly asks as she gets in his car.

"Shopping."

"Don't you have enough clothes?"

"Not for me for you."

"For me but i have a uniform to wear i don't need more clothes."

"I was talking to my mother about getting you clothes instead of a uniform she said that it was a good idea to get you new clothes and that you deserve to be a teenager too."

"Okay."

After shopping Derek and Kelly decided to watch a movie.

"What do you want to watch?" Derek asks.

"What do you have?"

"Well we have Minions, Matilda, Hugo, and Peter pan."

"Hugo sounds good."

"Okay."

As they start the movie what they didn't know was the volume was all the way up. The booming sound of the t.v made them both jump. The buttery, Salty smelling buttered popcorn went all over the place.

"I'll make more." Derek says as he helps Kelly pick up the popcorn.

Half way through the movie Kelly falls asleep. Derek looks at her and thinks to himself "Look how pretty she is with her brown wavy hair her sparkling brown eyes. She is so

pretty."

An hour later the movie is over and Derek wakes Kelly up.

"Wakey wakey Kelly the movie is over."

"Over already? It feels like it's been five minutes" Kelly says in a teasing tone.

After a few weeks Derek tells Kelly how he feels about her which is a surprise to Kelly because she liked him too. They end up dating and helping each other out with everything. One day when Derek was on the phone with another girl Kelly got mad and exploded on Derek. She runs out and gets in her car and drives away. Derek soon follows her not knowing that what he was about to see was very magical. He finds her at a pond saying very weird words. Derek is shocked when he sees Kelly make a butterfly appear in thin air.

        "Kelly?" Derek says as he runs toward her.

       "Derek?! What are you doing here?"

         "I came to talk to you about what happened."

        "Oh."

       "What was that?"

        "Oh you saw that? I'm a freak right?"

         "No you're not a freak why would I think you're a freak?"

          "Everyone thinks i'm a freak." Kelly says as she starts crying 

           "I don't think your a freak. I love you for who you are not for someone you're not." Derek says as he wipes Kelly's tears.

        "Really?"

       "Really. Let's go home."

      "Okay."
