Squad 53

training

It's been about 24 hours and we still have no information about our mission and when they are going to start to train us. Ben,Nugget (because he never leaves Bens side) and I were making the beds for our squad members because we do more chores to earn a little extra training time and a little more food. Anyways Ben starts to talk about how they treat us unfairly and how it's not fair that they make us go out and fight.
"I mean I agree but I think it's better us then them because they are important government people...I don't know" I said
"ya I agree with Zombie" said Nugget quietly. "ya I guess." said Ben "But it's just not fair." he kept saying
   After we all made the beds we went to eat breakfast. All of squad 53 was there and they were talking about our new training schedule. "Guys I overheard Vex telling the other government people that we are getting a training schedule" said Dumbo. "they said Squad 53 was getting a schedule and they are assigning it to Ben in a few hours." he said. "Yes!" said ringer "it's honestly about time. all the other squads have started their training and we haven't even started. We need this training."
    A few minutes later Vex comes in the meal room and Takes Ben out and tells him about the schedule.
   5 minutes later He comes back and tells everyone the schedule. "Ok everyone, training is every Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. From 5:50 am to 4:35pm (with 25 minute breaks)." he said.
    "Yes finally. we really needed this schedule." said Ringer "Yes i know but we start training tomorrow so we better get ready because it will be tough." said  Ben."are you ready?" "Ready as I'll ever be!" said tripper with teacup agreeing. I thought the schedule was pretty intense but I'll get used it.
A few hours later Ben and I were just sitting in our bunks talking once again.
" so....what do you think about the schedule?" asked Ben. "look it's not my favorite but if it can get us on a mission then I'm ok with it." I said chuckling. "Ya I mean the hours are pretty intense like 11 hours training almost everyday that's a lot." said Ben. Then for a few seconds it was really silent and then he just smiled at me and I smiled back. Then Nugget comes in the room with teacup and Tripper.
Ok because Nugget is in this chapter a lot let's talk about his life before squad 53.
So Nugget says his mother died from the disease and his dad is out there somewhere. Also his older sister named...Cassie...I think it is, is coming to the camp soon he hopes. He said he left his bear at the refugee camp and Cassie ran to get it and the bus took off without her. Also Ben said he knew Cassie because they actually went to the same school. Small world right?
Anyways It's always really sad when Sam talks about his mom.
"Guys want to do something?" I asked.
"like what?" said Teacup. "I don't know. uh we can take a walk?" I said. "Ya that sounds good to me." said Ben
"Fine whatever." Tripper said
about 5 minutes later they hear rustling in the leaves. They all get their guns ready incase it's someone that can hurt them. Then a little puppy appears. "Oh my god! A puppy!" I scream. "Shhhh!" Said Teacup. " Your going to get us caught." she said
"We need to take it" said Abbie. "we can't." I said "but it's a little puppy it's homeless and probably hungry. She said. "We will get caught and then kicked out."
"Ugh your so mean I hate you!" said Tripper crying. And Teacup and Tripper run off into the woods.
Teacup and Tripper were running away and they started to slow down. They had the puppy in their hands. Then they hear more rustling in the leaves.
Teacup screamed.."RUN TRIP, RUN! GIVE ME THE DOG!" Then Seconds later Tripper hits the ground. "OW!" she screams and starts to cry even more. "TRIPPER?!?!!!?" Screamed teacup. "WHAT HAPPENED!?!?!" screamed Cup."I GOT SHOT" said abbie. then Ben runs and picks up Tripper and runs back to the camp. "where did you come from?" said Abbie. "I followed you because I knew something like this was going to happen." he explained. "My hero!" said Abbie. Ben was full speed Running back to the camp to get Tripper some help. Tripper started to cry again because well there was a painful bullet in her foot and what seven year old wouldn't cry. But I have to say she was the toughest seven year old who got shot in the foot ever. "Wait I just have one question. Who shot you Abbie?" I said. "I have no idea." she said in tears. "ohhhh this is not good." explained Ringer. "if someone found out we left the camp we will get severely punished."
Minutes later they get to the camp.
"Wait guys....how are we going to explain what happened without saying we left the camp?" I said. "True..." said Ringer. "pleaseeeee figure something out like RIGHT NOW!" screamed Abbie. "Whoa guys what happened?!?!" said Wolf. "Tripper got shot" I explained and then I told her the whole story. "Oh my gosh she needs help like right now or she might get it infected or she might-" Then Tripper passed out. "pass out...." added on Wolf. "Oh no, Oh no, Oh no! WHAT are we going to to!?!?!?!??" I said starting to panic. "it's ok I got this figured out." said Ben. I liked how he was always so calm in hectic situations like this. "Ok soooo...what's the plan leader...? said Ringer sarcastically. "just follow my lead."
"Tripper?!?!?" screamed Ben. Then we all screamed Tripper. seconds later Vex walks in. "What happened!?!" screamed Vex. "we were just walking and someone shot her during shooting practice (on accident) Sir." Said Ben. " GET HER TO THE ER NOW!!!" said Vex.
We got to the Er/nurse and we found out Abbie needed 24 stitches and a foot and leg cast. And after she would need to go physical therapy. that's means she can't start training for about 4 weeks. Which also means...no mission for about 7 weeks.
"Tripper wake up!" I said. "ok we only need two people in the room." said the nurse. So me and Ben stayed while everyone else left and just hoped for the best.

Hey guys so that's chapter 3! ya I know it gets pretty intense and it gets better but worse I guess you can say. I'm so excited to start chapter 4 because now I'm getting so many ideas! Anyways I'll probably post chapter four in a couple days!
